Has anyone setup EDI or XML transactions with a 3PL (3rd Party Logistics) Company? Would you be willing to share your experience of how the project went or how you transfer data back and forth from the 3PL.

If you have some news, let me know too. I am trying to transfer data with a supplier and I am having problems finding documentation that allows me to do this.
I know that is not logistics, but as long EDI or XML is the subject I am interested.

Take a look at Dell Boomi. It’s a Middleware Server like many others on the market. They have partnered with IFS some time ago and have an official IFS Connector for an easier connection to IFS.
But you can use any other Middleware Server too, maybe with a less comfort.
With the Middleware you can call the IFS APIs, transform the data in the Middleware and provide it to the Supplier / Customer or whoever needs the data in any way they need it. EDI, (S)FTP, REST, SOAP...
