Calculating Master Schedule generates shop order req for customer order that has inventory already reserved for it. Customer order requires 50 pcs. We have a lot of 50 already reserved to the order. MS still generates another order for 50, leaving me with 50 pcs after the order ships. Why is it double dipping? Am I missing something? Thanks
I’m answering my own question but it might be helpful to someone else. I’m using a planning time fence of zero days. Everyday after today is outside of the planning time fence. Inventory is available today, so “Roll Flag” must be checked to carry the inventory outside of the planning time fence. If Roll Flag is checked, the inventory on hand is subtracted from the first master scheduled qty.
