Dear All,

I am trying to run MS Level Part one by putting the forecast date with in the DTF and PTF but system is not converting to fixed.

Is anything I am missing. Refer Screenshot pls.

Thanks

Setting of DTF is based on manufacturing lead time and PTF is based on cumulative lead time.

When a forecast is put in between the DTF and PTF, it is an unexpected requirement for planning process due to reasons like components not being planned to do the production before the forecast date.

Therefore, system will create a proposal for the practically possible closest working day (i.e. first day after the PTF. MRP can plan components against this proposal). When you run MS on/for the following day, created proposal will cross the PTF, and it will get fixed.
