Hi

I was just wondering if the below was possible.

We have a report which is built using a commend. The command contains the rep view and 2 other views.

When we preview the report in IFS or crystal it is extremely slow and can take nearly an hour to run. We have a parameter called IFS_RESULT_KEY which is in the main report. If I create the parameter in the command the report runs instantly in Crystal but prompts for the IFS_RESULT_KEY when ran in IFS. I was just wondering if anyone has managed to resolve this issue?

Regards

Gary

  2. Have you set the filter e.g.

The report will prompt for the IFS_RESULT_KEY in Crystal but will not prompt for this parameter in IFS so long as you have added the filter correctly.

If still not working would you kindly provide a screen shot of your filter.

Gary

Have you used this type command for Operational Reports before and did they work.

I usually don't go down the commands route, I usually add the REP views.

Just curious.
