Scrappage Limit

Forum|alt.badge.img

Is there a way to set a financial limit on the amount a user can inventory scrap before it needs approval?

There is no standard way to do this so best suggestion is to create a custom event which will enable to you set a monetary limit and if it is exceeded then automatically put an approval on it.

@anbouk do you have any documentation to share describing how to configure an approval on an inventory transaction?

Adam,

Not sure what version you are on but there are a few examples in the community if you search for custom events.

But I have also attached two documents here (albeit based on IFS Apps but principle still applies in IFS Cloud) that should help, one that will add an approval routing and one that will show you how to stop something happening until the approval routing has been signed off.

Regards,

Antony

@Nimesh.Arachchige there’s also an idea submitted for this feature. Give your upvote if you think this is something that must be built within the tool.
