This diagram only illustrates the workflow steps and does not explain the logic and also in the video there are various price management techniques defined but not really the difference in the output is reflected so can you give a real world example showing the major difference.

In IFS Cloud, a price list is used to define pricing, discounts, and additional costs for each combination of a purchase part and its supplier. For every line in the price list, you can specify a minimum order quantity, the unit price, any discounts, and additional charges such as freight or handling. Each line also requires a valid starting date, ensuring the system applies the correct price based on the order date. This functionality allows companies to manage supplier-specific pricing efficiently, maintain consistency across orders, and automate calculations for cost and procurement planning. By using these price lists, buyers can quickly determine the total cost for a given part from different suppliers, compare offers, and enforce contractual agreements without manual calculations.
