Our Customer Service team members spend a great deal of time entering orders received by email. We use EDI for some larger customers, but we receive orders by email from many smaller customers. We are interested in solutions that could help automate data entry into IFS. Please share your experiences, ideas, and suggestions.

I think this is the purpose of OCR software.  I’ve used Microdea’s synergize to do this in the past.  They look to be Transflo now.

Emails go to a specific inbox monitored by synergize.  You make templates to read in the contents to IFS like bancpay.

Perhaps IFS has a partner in this space or bancpay can be made to do this.  We used synergize like we use bancpay.

Hello,

We currently use Astra Canyon’s FastCo to import customer orders.  Astra Canyon is an IFS business partner.

In latest version of IFS cloud there is an assistant called Scan Customer Order

This assistant "Scan Customer Order" was implemented to scan customer's demands which are transmitted in a way that is suitable for identifying and interpreting them using a combination of Character Recognition and Artificial Intelligence software. The assistant supports pdf files as well as several picture file formats (bmp, jpg, png...).
