Hi all,
We use the Sales Quotations Overview in IFSAPP10 to distribute Sales Quotations to our sales personnel.
One thing that we’ve noticed is that the coordinator (AUTHORIZE_CODE) is not editable from the list view, meaning we have to enter every sales quotation manually to change the “handler”.
In the customer order overview, this field is editable, it has the Client Field Flags: FIELD_Update, which SQ-list does not.
Does any of you have a good solution to this, or working in another way to achieve the same result?
Have you found another way in IFS Cloud?
Or, should this simply be part of IFS standard code?
Best regards
Hi
I have checked in the standard reference environment and as you have mentioned, the field ‘Coordinator’ is not editable in Sales Quotations overview screen.
Since your requirement is to distribute Sales Quotations among Sales Personnel, you can instead use the field ‘Note’ in the same screen to enter the name or the ID of the relevant Sales Personnel.
Same workaround can be used in IFS Cloud as well.
However, if you still think that it is necessary to have the ability to edit Coordinator from Sales Quotations screen, I suggest you to add it as an idea in this community so that R&D will consider it during their future releases.

Hi
Thanks for your answer.
However, this workaround will not work for us as the note field has already been widely used across our companies. As well as missing out on any logic that would transfer to the customer order when converted.
It is possible to change the coordinator in Aurena, but as you mention that this workaround can be used in IFS Cloud aswell, I’m assuming that it’s not possible to change coordinator from the overview in cloud?

Hi
In that case I would like suggest to add your concern as an idea post for it to be considered as a future enhancement.
Regarding the behaviour in Aurena, I have checked in APP10 UPD24 Aurena and found that the coordinator cannot be edited from Sales Quotations screen. The same behaviour can be seen in IFS Cloud (24R1 SU2).

I have made an idea post as per your suggestion.
However, I managed to get this editable in Aurena by doing the following:
It seems to be working well.

Hi
Glad to see that you were able to find a workaround.
Thanks for sharing the workaround in this thread to refer for the other users.
