Good day IFS Community!  I am wondering how I assign a pick list from a shipment to a team member for them to pick utilizing WaDaCo and not having to print a paper copy of the pick ticket.  This would allow my warehouse leadership to distribute the pick lists out to the team and assign.  I have poked around in Transport Tasks and Warehouse Tasks and do not see where I can assign a pick list.
The next question I will have is where do the team members see their assigned pick lists?  How will they know the next pick tickets are ready?

Hi @DarinHowrey

You  are on the right track.  It’s possible to configure Warehouse Tasks in conjunction with WaDaCo to assign Customer Order Pick Lists.

Prerequisites:

  1. Warehouse Task Type Set-up
    1. Change the status for the Customer Order Pick List Task Type to Active
    2. If you want the Warehouse Tasks to be manually assigned by a supervisor, then leave the ‘Warehouse task will be created in status’ as Planned.
  2. Create a Warehouse Worker Group
    1. This will allow you to group workers (i.e. could be for Picking or Fork Lift certified material handlers, etc., etc.)
    2. You will specify which Task Types and Location Groups the group is eligible for
  3. Create a Warehouse Worker
    1. The worker can only be connected to 1 Worker Group
    2. You will further specify which Task Types and Location Groups the worker is eligible for as they are not automatically inherited from the Worker Group.
  4. Configure Warehouse Data Collection
    1. Create configurations for Start Warehouse Task and Park Warehouse Task

Once the above is done, then a Warehouse Task will automatically get created once a Customer Order Picklist is created.

From there, the warehouse supervisor can navigate to ‘Warehouse Manager Task Planning’, specify a site and review the outstanding Warehouse Tasks.

They can assign them to specific Workers or a Worker Group if you prefer the end user to see a queue to manually select from their handheld devices.
