Why I cannot find the item of New work form the Dashboard of IFS Service MWO

Hi 

Why I cannot find the item of New work form the Dashboard of IFS Service MWO as below picture.

The picture from the Microsoft store has the item of New work as below.

Hi @feng ,

 

  1. Go to the Application Parameters screen in the IFS Cloud
  2. Search for Parameter ‘SERVICE_REQUEST_FOR_NEW_WORK’
  3. Set the value to ‘FALSE’

After that initialize the mobile application and you may see the New Work option.

When I set the value to ‘FALSE’, I can see the New Work option.

Could you explain why it should be set to ‘FALSE’

Hi @feng ,

 

I am not sure why the values is set to FALSE, though it should be TRUE. But as per the core functionality the New Work works when this sets to FALSE.

HI Feng,

ServiceEng App now supports both New Requests and New Work Orders  .

The app parameter ‘SERVICE_REQUEST_FOR_NEW_WORK’  controls which one you want use. 

This is why you see New Service Request option when the parameter is set to TRUE.
