We have a need to remove the ability for users that can create/work on Work Orders and Fault Reports to delete them once they are created.

I’ve found that the Database Object tied to this is the ActiveSeparate Logical unit and removing the checkbox next to Remove__ would in theory throw an error - however that particular database object is tied to a lot of other functions in IFS and we would not want it to not work in other areas.

 

There is a chance I am making this more difficult than necessary so any direction would be greatly appreciated.

Here, what you meant by “delete them”. Is it removing them from “Work to Prepare” tile in MWO?

No - we have a situation where users that work the reports are deleting them with the delete button on the Prepare Work Order and the Active Work Orders screen.

 

We need the users to be able to have edit access on this screen to actually work the orders however we don't want them to be able to delete them. They can delete using the RMB Menu or by hitting the trash can on each of these screens and I’m not sure how to remove that functionality w/out removing the other permissions they need.
