Hi All,

I have some instances where the Request WT is not updated to Work Done even though the Assignments are Completed. Steps are completed and no unfulfilled material demand. Work is executed via MWO.

Another observation is that the sales prices are not fetched when this happens. But, in work tasks of which the status are changed correctly sales prices are also fetched correctly.

What can cause this behavior?

TIA.

It sounds like you are transferring work to mobile without fulfilling the resource demand i.e. creating an assignment that fulfills the defined resource demand. If you for example open the “Assign Work” dialog, you’ll see that there are two options, one where you create an allocation to fulfil the defined resource demand and one that’s called “Direct Allocation”. If you use the Direct Allocation route, you’re create an assignment for someone, regardless of the resource demand. This is what happens when you use “Transfer to Mobile” as well, if you haven’t created a work assignment first.
As there is still open demand on the Work Task, it will not be automatically set to Work Done.
The reason you’re not getting the proper pricing would likely be due to the same reason, as you don’t have a resource group to get them from in this instance.

Hi @anmise

Thank you very much for the detailed answer.

If I transfer the task to a user within the resource group specified in the resource demand using the 'Transfer a Mobile' option, does it still count as unfulfilled demand?

I think there is no issue when we transfer via the dispatch console.

Yes @kasunhp, because you are not creating an assignment before the transfer. When you are transferring from the dispatch console, You have already assigned the resource demand to a resource i.e. fulfilled the demand.

Hi @anmise

Thanks for the answer.

One more thing, Do you know the difference of these two apps “IFS MWO Service Classic” and “IFS MWO Service”.

I tried with both apps and seems they are similar.
