Hello. When a PO is created and a no part order line is entered, is it possible to assign a FA object to this line so that when it is received into the system, the FA object is activated and the acquisition value is set? I would appreciate assistance/thoughts on this. Thank you.

Copy Paste functionality in Aurena for custom fields

There is functionality in Aurena tables to copy and paste records (Copy Selected Rows, Paste Rows). But it doesn’t copy any custom field.Is this a “build-in” feature of Aurena or it can be parametrized in any way?Maybe there is a possibility to add this functionality programatically?I would appreciate any answer that could help.Thanks in advance.

Excel Migration Error - not granted all database methods

We are running Apps10 UPD10We created an Excel Migration job to update custom fields in a table. When we try to open the job in Excel - we get the error “You are not granted all the database methods required to run the job” We can successfully run other Excel migrations, and we can go past this error to run the search. But we cannot do any add/updates. We’ve also confirmed we have access to the base _API db package and the _CFP DB package. I’m looking for help to figure out which “database methods” I need to add to my permission set for access.

Tax Direction - Mixed payments

We have an issue with occasionally selection the wrong tax direction for a payment, Tax received or Tax disbursed. Is there anyway to set up IFS so that dependant on whether or not payment is received or sent then correct tax direction is defaulted?

IFS Login page takes long after typing the user name and password

Aurena permission set selection issue

Hi All,I have observed issue in IFS10 Update 10 in Aurena Client while working with permission set.Say for example if we create new permission set and further try to select the permission set. This new permission set will move to the first position. But the selection moves to permission set just below it. Then again I have to confirm visually and re-select the permission set.Case Study with Screenshots:Log on with ifsapp credentials and navigate to permission set window. First permission set initially at the top is ‘APPSRV_ATTACHMENTS’ Navigate below using list and select permission set ‘EAM_AURENA_01’ Select ‘Projections and Lobby Pages’ option Now this permission set moves up in the list But the selection automatically changes to permission set ‘APPSRV_ATTACHMENTS’ from EAM_AURENA_01. User by mistake if chooses ‘Manage by Navigator’ option on the window pane without observing the permission set name then he/she will end up assigning projections in wrong permission set. Only a

Tax Base Amount Missing

Dear All, When a voucher is cancelled or reversed, the corresponding Tax Base Amount is not populated in the tax transaction window for the cancelled/ reversed transaction. what could be the reason? for example - when the voucher is create, a Tax Transaction Id is created with the Tax Base Amount and the Tax amount and when the same voucher is cancelled the Tax Transaction created for the reversal only shows the Tax Amount, but not the Tax Base Amount. Please clarify?

Time Card Basic Data Setup

Hi All,We are getting ready to welcome our 2021 class of interns in a month or so, and I wanted to set up IFS so they can log their work time. Ideally they would use the Time Card – Day screen in IFS and I would be able to run a report for HR so they can process the payroll. As I read through all the information I can find, it seems that there is basic data that needs to be set up on the back end in order to do this. I was wondering if any one has already gone through this process and would be willing to share their set up or work instructions. I was able to put in time as a test in MIGR, but I’m getting all sorts of errors trying to confirm and/or authorize the time. Any help is appreciated! Thanks,

Apps9 Event no longer appears to work

Hi All,My guru on events is on holiday this week so I'm hoping you lovely lot will be able to help me.We have an event that fires when a shipment is closed and the shipment type is a specific type, its a simple e-mail asking for the invoice to be printed. This has been working for a couple of months now but appears to not be working today.I've checked the shipment, customer order and customer and I can not see a reason why the event would not have triggered. I have looked in background jobs and there are no errors. Event is also still enabled.Where else can I look to try and see why this event is not triggering please?Thanks for your help

Medical Devices GS1-GDSN interface

GDSN (Global Data Synchronisation Network) from GS1 can be used by Medical Device Manufacturers to upload their product data to make it accessible to for instance EUDAMED. Price List vs Customer Agreement

Any comments on the topic what is more convenient for maintaining sales prices in IFS applications: price list or customer agreement ? We need to consider domestic sales and foreign sales (direct and via foreign branch). I see that price list is regardless of the customer while agreement is connected to specific customer. Is it the main difference ? Price List can be connected to customer price group or to the customer. In here customer agreements are used in one company and in the second price lists are used. I wonder what are the advantages of each of the way. It seems for me that price lists are more convenient, as I do not have to enter prices for each customer separately. But I need more arguments to convince the sales department here. Another topic is the need for price update periodically. I need to write some PL/SQL for it but I wonder what should be the source of the data: it could be excel but I prefer the data to be present in IFS e.g. on some price list. The I can use it as

Customer Consignment Apps 10 - Aggregated Reporting

Testing for update of Apps 10 from Apps 8 and see new functionality for Aggregated Reporting Allowed.Attempting to report Customer Consignment Stock Consumption, but keep getting Error Message: InventoryPartAtCustomer. The “Inventory Part At Customer” has already been removed by another user.I tried to uncheck this Aggregated Reporting Allowed, but then get message that it is not allowed: How does this functionality to report Customer Consignment Usage now work in Apps 10?

Docman with Aurena client

Hi,it's the first time that one of our customers would like to use DocMan with Aurena client. I’ve already learned that 'Document Import Action' will not be available. Are there any alternatives to customize an Outlook integration? (Panel functionality won’t be sufficient to meet customer’s expectation.)
