Hi, I have created new permission set for finance users but there is no access to any lobby. I have to grant lobby access one by one.Is there any way to grant all lobbies related to finance at once ?

Automatic Account Matching

Having a look at at the automatic account matching, but when testing it my background job is returning a warning. How does this process work, how do I know whether to select invoice or PO nummber to match when it is GL entries that have neither?

IFS crystal report previewing layout problem

I am developing the order report for my company. I used crystal report version 11.0.0.895 with Oracle database. All the steps regarding report development are successfully executed and the report is successfully run in crystal report. We are using IFS 9 and the report is integrated with Presentation Object Scanner in IFS. When I run the report from Order Report window it shows following errorCan anyone suggest me what is the reason behind this error what are the resolution.Thanks in advance

Error When Moving Documents between Document Repositories

We are running Apps10 UPD8.We are currently testing moving our document repository from the DB to an Shared Folder. We are getting a lot of “failed to move” errors with File not found in the repository 'DEFAULT' on the individual files listed. Digging into it further I foundFiles that have this error in our test environment cannot be viewed in our Production environment. In the majority of cases, there is no “Checked In” record in history and the view button is not enabled on the General tab. In a few cases, there is a “Checked In” record in history, but view errors out when it can’t find a file. I have not yet established if there is a pattern associated with our IFS version when the document was created (Apps8 vs Apps10).I’m thinking about doing the following to move forward. I’m wondering if anyone else has run into this and has recommendations on what worked.Plan to go forward.This error really means the file doesn’t exist so there is no “get the file back” in this scenario. Spell Check on IFS Fields

Is there anyway to perform a spell check on any IFS field?We are planning to use Service quotations, which will produce a quote letter to be sent to our customer. There will be multiple users and spelling mistakes may happen. We would like to pick these up before sending the service quote to the customer.We will be using a free text style field to enter details that will appear on the letter (produced via a crystal report).

what is the use of mm_message_out table in FSM?

what is the use of mm_message_out table in FSM?mm_message_out table is writing 2 million records daily and it is causing my table space to be increased by 40 GB per day oracle SYSLOB Segment. what is the use of this table. Need your support in finding the root cause of this issue.

Custom Object in search dialog box

Hi,I have created a read only custom object to display a field from the inventory part LU on Material reqs lines. This works fine but they want to go a bit further when they do a LOV on a Part_NO they would like this custom object to show in the search dialog box when they select LOV on the Part_no field. Can this be done?Thanks

How to setup and use scanners for WaDaCo in the best way

Hi,Currently we have 15 scanners in our Production which use 15 IFS licenses to run WaDaCo. We’re planning to implement approximately 65 new scanners in other factories to use WaDaCo functionality. Do you know if it will demand we use 65 new IFS Licenses or is there a better and more efficient way we we can approach this? It could be great if it’s possible to decrease the use of licenses. 80 licenses for the use of WaDaCo seems high.So It is possible to ‘share’ licenses? We tried to test the use of same/shared license on multiple scanners and the sessions were ‘parked’ so it didn’t work.Please share your knowledge :) Regards Christian

Does IFS support RCTI functionality?

Since recently one of our major customers, have started raising RCTIs and we need to match them with the project invoices we raise in IFS. So far I could not find a functionality in IFS that caters to Recipient Created Tax Invoicing (RCTI). Am I missing something? If it’s currently not available in IFS, is it something that would be considered in the future? Have there been any requests from other customers to have RCTI functionality or anyone here in the forum having such requirement?TIA

Report Rule - Check In To Document Management Not Working

I created an IFS report rule that would auto attach a report PDF file to the linked business opportunity header. I would like to mention that the Report ID being used was built by someone else for us. This environment is on Apps 10 UPD8.The action type is set to ‘Check In To Document Management’. The ConnectedLU = ‘BusinessOpportunity’ had to be manually added, it was not found in the list of values.I created a new document class ‘600’The issue I’m having is that after clicking on the RMB in Business Opportunity to run the report and the PDF is created the Report Rule does not run at all, nothing gets attached to the selected BO.

Integration Schedules Not Running

Hello,New to this role but since Dec 31, it seems that our integration schedules are not running and are unable to use the Run Now too. I have restarted the following items but with no success. I have tried the following items that have worked before:Refreshing Cache Refresh Integration Cache Restarting FSMProd Integration Monitor Services (On Server) Restarting App Pools FSMLinkService Mgd FSMProd Mgd FSMRestService Mgd We currently have IFS FSM, version 5.6.2. Access token isn't working

Hi, I’m trying to get the warehouse inventory list using a bearer token, I’m using ‘IFS Database’ as an identity provider. I got my access token like this : Then I used it like this : But I’m getting a 401 error, I tried to use the id_token instead of the access_token but I get the same thing. Am I missing something? IFS Engineering - Engineers Assigned to Site

I have a team of engineers who belong to a company, “VISA” which is comprised of two sites “VP100” & “VP110”.When the team are trying to assign an engineer manually to the resource tab of “Single Page Report In Work Order” the engineers available in the list are only those that are assigned to the site at that time rather than the full list, there are seven engineers in total, the attached screenshots capture 4 engineers assigned on one site and 3 engineers on the other.Is there any way to configure this to have visibility of all seven regardless of site? If not, what is the best or prescribed way of allowing the engineering team to switch an engineers site? Through accessing the “Organization Basic Data”?Many thanks,Matt
