Lobby Element slow to open - operation timed out

Hi All,We have a couple of lobby elements that are running from Live IAL’s and for some users they are timing out.We have found restarting the IFS MW and DB fixes the issues for some users but not all, is anyone able to suggest how I could found or resolve the root cause of this issue? Thank you.

Requisition line as a column in lobby element

Good Morning, I am trying to get the Requisition line to populate in my data set, it is a viewable collumn from the Maint Material Requisiion line screen, but does not populate in the column selection. any suggestions

RFQ for Supplier Price comparison

I’m looking for a way to show RFQ for Supplier Comparison, side by side view.ie. Supplier A | Supplier B | Supplier CItem A 10.00 9.5 11.00Item B 5.00 6.0 4.500 This is easier to view the items and the supplier and easier to decide. Have anybody done this? Thanks.

Cancel and Create Supplier Invoice

HelloWhen you try to Cancel and Create an existing Manual Supplier Invoice which is in PostedAuth status there’s a message that appears informing the user that they are not authorized to cancel the invoice.It seems that in statuses other than PostAuth that the Cancel and Create functionality is available.Can anyone confirm that this is the case?ThanksAlan

MS Level 1 Part-Forecast Consumption

Hi,On MS Level 1 part, we have recently amended our Forecast Consumption rules to roll out from drop, with a forecast window of 7.The first two lines dated 28/10/2020 and 29/10/2020 are actual orders that have been picked, but not yet shipped off our system. We then show a quantity of 1on the 03/11/2020 in the Forecast 1 column and the consumed forecast column. This forecast was not showing on schedule, so I assume IFS has added the forecast into the Forecast 1 column? Is there a reason for this? Also, it is showing as consumed and I am unsure why when the actual demand’s are in multiples of 4?We then show a quantity of 3 in the Forecast 0 column. However, this was a 4 on schedule. Is there a reason why this will have pulled through to MS Level 1 as 3? This is also showing in the consumed forecast column, again unsure why when the actual demand’s are in multiples of 4?Thanks.

PM Request Generation Error

Generating our quarterly contracts. using the contract PM request generation in Contracts Manager It’s stuck in processing and wont actually generate any of them. Checked the server log and found the follow message: Message: PerformContractPMRequestGeneration. This row has been removed from a table and does not have any data. BeginEdit() will allow creation of new data in this row. Not sure what is stopping it based off this error @Mike The FSM TechnoGeek - any idea what this is pointing to?

Deactivating future dates in calendar

There is a requirement to disable the future dates in a calendar on a date data field. I didn’t find any method regarding this in the internal documentation.Is it possible to achieve this using IFS control?Could anyone please assist me on this.

Handling units losing Availability Control after WaDaCo inventory move

We are using Availability Controls with our materials to prevent certain parts from being backflushed or issued to orders, or shipped prior to an approval. Our issue is that when we move these materials with Move Handling Unit, the Availability Control is lost. We can’t put a default on locations because we could have different parts with different controls in a given location. We tried using Move Part, but if we have multiple lot/batches on a Handling Unit, it is split with Move Part. Does anyone know of a different way to save the Availability Control during an Inventory Move, or prevent the splitting of a multi-lot/batch Handling Unit?

Case management - handover object

What is the opportunity in the call center to use the handover object for RMA ?In fact, when creating a RMA directly from the customer order header through the RMB “handle RMA”, all the customer order lines are automatiaclly fetched into the RMA in one click. And If I well understand the handover object, RMA is automatically linked to the parts which was associated manually in the business objects tab of the case. This means that if we have several lines to be returned by one customer, we have to link them manually to the case. Is it correct ?As per me, it takes much more time to use the handover function for RMA and do not really understand the purpose of such a function. And I have an other question :Why we cannot find in the attachments panel the case in which we link some business objects. For example, if I link a case to a customer order, this CO is not in the business object tab of the case and vice versa, if I link manually a CO in the business object tab of one case, I cannot f

Issue while connecting lines to load list.

Hello community,We are using IFS version 8.While creating invoice user first reserves the stock then performs report reserved quantity as picked.Then when he checks this picked line then he don’t find these lines but when I check through IFSAPP user login then I found it.I am not able to find out this issue.Can somebody help.
