We get this error when trying to upload a document, using IFS Batch_Transfer_Handler_API.Upload_To_Ftp: ORA-20105: PlsqlapServer.ERRINV: Failed to upload file to Ftp server [\\<server>\F$\path\to\file\filename.pdf (Access is denied)]Caused by: ifs.fnd.base.SystemException: Failed to upload file to Ftp server [\\<server>\F$\path\to\file\filename.pdf (Access is denied)] The server is were the source file is which should be moved to the ftp-server. Which IFS service/account should have which access to this server? Regards Johan.

Incorrect Annual Leave Balance

Hi All, One of the employee submitted annual leave and after registering the leave was cancelled. but in the Absence limit days the used annual leaves amount is not calculated properly. anyone knows the reason for this? any idea?

How to create a .zip file from attachments in the Document Revisions screen in Aurena

Hi,I want to create a .zip file from some of the attachments in Document Revisions screen using a JAVA code and opening an Outlook mail by adding that .zip file as an attachment.Since Aurena agent only allows one file at a time, how to implement this functionality for multiple files using a JAVA code in a projection in Aurena?Any suggestions?ThanksRegards,Tharindu

Doc Text - IFS Report Designer - IFS 9

We are currently using IFS Report Designer for IFS9 and would like to use Doc Text to pull in messages automatically. Is there a way to have DOC Text automatically get pulled into a sales quotation for reports instead of adding it to each order manually?

How to format a field in an email event action?

Hi,Is there a way to format a field on the body of a message to display in a certain format? For example I’m using one of the available fields and its a number but would like to format to show on the email as currency. When the email is sent it’s displayed 56346 instead of 56,346. Multiple match in posting proposal to PO reeipt

Hello. I have a PO with 5 of the same items. These were all received at once. In the posting information section of the posting proposal of the supplier invoice, is it possible to have 5 lines where each line matches to a receipt quantity of 1? How to set up parts to use the handling unit

Hi IFS community, Can you explain me how to set up parts for being able to ship the entire quantity of a case when customer order the full case and not split into each quantity from multiple cases? I tried : To set up the sales part unit with a conversion factor To use the handling unit To use the location group “Pallet” But none of my tests works well, system always split into different cases. Error while executing Aurena Lobby Pages

Hi,I have added Lobby Pages in permission set through Aurena Client. When I click on the lobby page getting following error. This happens for all the lobby pages and Standard Aurena Lobby Page for ex - ‘Maintenance Engineer’ Lobby. Error Screenshot has 3 point checklist. Please clarify do we need to deploy lobby pages to get the path=0.142378…… in the URL when lobby page gets loaded in chrome browser ? We are using Apps10 Update10 I know following facts about the Aurena Lobby Pages, correct me please if I am wrong:-IEE Lobby Page need to be converted to Aurena Lobby page by choosing the client type as ‘Aurena’ Not only main lobby page client type should be ‘Aurena’, all its elements should also have client type as ‘Aurena’. Engineering Part Navigator (SQL)

I am looking to build a single query statement that pulls back all parts that are part of a given Part Structure. If I look at the Tree view in Engineering Part Navigator it shows all parts that are part of the system. I need the ability to query the database for all parts that belong to this tree. If someone out there has done this can you please share. Another way to look at it would be I want everything on the Multilevel tab. Although the tab shows all part records the view it is based on does not (ENG_PART_STRUCTURE_EXT). Any help would be appricated.

Inter-Site Cost Bucket

Hello everyone. I’d like to know if anyone does the following or if it’s even possible. We use standard costing. Site A manufactures a part that has material, labor and OH cost bucket IDs. The part is then transferred to Site B. Currently we use the P-150 cost template to set the standard cost in Site B to be the same as the standard cost in Site A. The problem is that the cost in Site B is only associated with cost bucket ID 510. I’d like the material, labor and OH costs from Site A to be the same in Site B. Is this possible? Thanks!

Access to API calls, and Explorer documentation?

Hi, Currently using IFS APP10 with UPD8 and higher for customer purpose. 1/According to you guys, what are the required standard permission sets to allow a user to call REST APIs from outside IFS? e.g. create or modify a client from CustomersHandling API. So far, we used permission sets such as: FND_ADMIN, FND_CONNECT, and a custom kind of “superuser”, and it won’t let us call the APIs. 2/Some API documentations for a given method are unavailable. For example, whenever we want to generate the CustomerHandling doc (see link below), we have an error. I noticed it occurs from time to time for specific methods.Does this mean there is actually no available documentation for the given method? More than one person seeing Laser Checks in Report Archive.

We are looking to have more than one person see a report in Report Archive. Examples: Purchas Order, Laser Checks. With the current at home work situation for many people, we have people creating reports at home and another printing the checks in the office. Any ideas for a way to do this? Sending Automatic Invoice E-mails

We have some customers which are failing when we try to send automatic e-mails for invoices. Our internal IT dept suggest that error is on customer side, customer is advising they can’t see an issue. Is there anything in our IFS set up that could be causing this? Example of error below:
