Inventory Turnover Rate per Period

Please try to help me the responce to our Customer...We going to start using Inventory Turnover Rate per Period analysis.But we recieve different values of Issued Value from this place and summarize values from Inventory Transaction History.We need to be sure how does it work, before we send this analysis to managers. Here is the example on TEST db:part_no = 1000001contract = PLGDYperiods from 2021 01 to 2021 12and we receive Issued Value = 33036,68 and Average Inventory Value = 2635,91while from Transaction Historypart_no = 1000001contract = PLGDYcreated 2021-01-01..2021-12-31 (Applied Date also)we receive such values of transactions:ARRIVAL 31 534,80INTSHIP 28 321,68INTUNISS 66,94and from Inventory Value per Period avg. value = 2 303,31end of period total value 2021-01 1 802,66 2021-02 1 110,66 2021-03 1 058,76 2021-04 692,00 2021-05 1 664,30 2021-06 2 636,70 2021-07

Specifying Quantities and Lots to Receive on Handling Units

When performing purchase order receiving, is there a way to specify exactly what lot numbers are to be received on which handling units in a specific quantity? For example, is there a way to specify that 500 pieces of lot A and 400 piece of lot B should be received in handling unit 1 and 800 pieces of lot C should be received in handling unit 2.

supplier agreement

i am not sure if supplier agreement can help me in a scenario where we have to buy goods with supplier x and he has put a condition that starting may there will be a increase surcharge on invoices . we raise a purchase order for item a with 10 usd ,and item b with 10 usd, when he is sending the invoice it will come as 25 usd , with 5 being additional surchare as this is not based on product. How can i tackle this additional charges while booking manual supplier invoice. one way is to add additional cost element for these items a and b and do the part costing as we are usng standard part costing. Would like to know is there any better alternative solution.

Hi, I would like to use the appointment booking on the partner portal.When It did for a SV (status open), i have a message. I think that a setting is missing, but which one ?on the server or on the backend ? We have created a quick report in IFS Aurena. We need to display the updated records as well as the old records on the same report. How can we accomplish this? Currently, the History Log only show the meta data but not the actual changed value. We need to display the actual changes and the old value.

Missing location in count reports

Hi, We are having an issue where a section of locations is missing from the count report. For instance, I select row 28. The report show all of row 28 except for 28A15,28B15,28C15,28D15 (basically one column of racking in a warehouse).The inventory part is set to cycle count, and the location doesnt have anything out of the ordinary in warehouse navigator. Any idea on why we can’t see/count these bins? Thanks,Mike

Repost Supplier Invoice to Other Identity not available

. I need to move the open supplier invoices from one supplier to a different supplier as a result of an acquisition. I would like to use the function “Repost Supplier Ledger Item to Other Identity”, however, that option is not available in the context menu after I inquire on the supplier invoices to repost.I have checked all the prerequisites listed in the help document and have provided screen shots of each item below. I also have worked with my IT department to see if there is any security that I may be missing – of which nothing seems to be missing. I have the same functionality on the Customer side, and that is working correctly. In the attached word document I have included all the screen shots showing the set up and the reposting screen. I’m using Enterprise explorer APPS 10 update 13. Below is the screen shot of what I see when I go into Repost supplier ledger item.

Apps9: Creating a supplier spend report

I am looking to create a quick report or lobby that will help with monitoring purchase expenditure.We have a number of report requests, but am wondering how others tackle this issue?Do you use a different solution outside of IFS? Have you found lobbies/quick reports that are suitable? My initial thought was to use a report based off purchase groups, but one of the issues i am having is spend where no purchase order has been created. I have noticed you can manually add purchase groups to the ‘Purchase’ tab on the supplier record which I could report on from the GL ledger and use the purchase group attached to the supplier but i am unsure of the effect of updating these purchase groups. Does it affect any purchase requistion/orders?Any help appreciated

SSO and OIDC with FSM

A customer is having problems when using OIDC to access the FSM Web Client. The customer has checked their SSO environment and believes it to be correct. However, we are getting a 403 error when trying to use OIDC.From outside their network, I can get to the FSM web client landing page: If I use FSM authentication, I can log in OK: However, if I select “Use OIDC Login” on the landing page, I briefly see the redirect to the Microsoft page: before being bounced back to the root page of the server with a 403 error: Does anyone have ideas/suggestions as to what might be wrong or how to troubleshoot this further?Steve

Workround for purchasing a Configured Part from Maintenance

We have an upgrade project where Configured Parts are manufacured, sold and Maintained. In the Maintenance process, sometimes the configured part need to be replaced, and this requirements starts from an Service Order. The Configured part needs to be procured, and belongs to the BoM as maintained.As the only scenario for now is to create an customer order line but this has several negative side effects. All service technichian will need to run different processes if it is an configured part or not, the progress and delivery date of the parts will not be visible to the service order. The cost follow up of the service order will not be aligned with the cost of the configured part.Is there any ongoing solution to include this Gap into the Core solution?

Traceability during Part Life Cycle (R&D vs Manufacturing)

During R&D phase Parts are created and manufactured as prototype. In this phase there is no need for tracing (like serial numbering).After approval by the customer, the part will need to be setup for production and some parts need to be set to serial tracked. This however is only possible when there is no inventory and no orders which is almost impossible to achieve because prototype orders are still running.So, the question is: How should IFS Cloud be configured during the part life cycle when it comes to the Master Part Traceability settings?

Component issuing and Header part receiving cost are different in shop order

Hello IFS, shop order Issuing component part cost and header part receiving cost should not be different when Qty per Assy is ‘1’ and also there is no BY-Product.But in my case component part issue by Inventory cost 107749.7560 and receive header manufactured part by inventory cost 49564.8878 Both component issue and Receive Qty is 460 nos. and also there is no By-Product or scrap factor or component factor.When it is possible and how this will resolve?

Expense Items Showing in Inventory

We have expense items that we are setting up to put on the Product Structure that will allow us to perform Where Used and determine what products are impacted by these parts. We do not want to have these in inventory. When I created a few test items and did a purchase order, then received it they are now in inventory. Is there a different way to approach this? We really want these on a structure to give us visibility, just don’t want them in inventory.
