how does the line item matching on the posting proposals work? We are working on brining in supplier invoices via EDI and would like to take advantage of line item matching. How are price/quantity differences handled?the attached screen shot shows a supplier invoice where the price on the PO is different from the price on the invoice. Can this be automated?

Inventory Location

Hi,We have inventory parts that are getting written off the books because it is unlikely that we will sell them. However, we keep the parts in-house and just physically move them to a “written-off” location in the building. Instead of removing the parts from IFS stock via a Material Requisition, I would like to “move” them to a new inventory location in IFS that is not reflected on the books. Does anyone know if this is possible and if so, how it would be processed in IFS?Thanks in advance for any input or advice.

Inbound Customer Orders not Accepted

We have been testing EDI 850’s and in our DEV environment, the 850’s flow correctly through to IFS Incoming Customer Orders, however after setting up another environment, TEST, the orders are only getting so far- not showing up in Incoming Customer Orders Window.**In our Dev system, the State is Accepted**In our Test system, the State is Posted I also noticed that these Database Processes are not in the TEST system, but are in the DEV Any suggestions would be very much appreciated. Thank you.

Active Directory Event Logs

Hi All, This is a slight tweak on an oft asked question - I’m aware we can no longer get Log-On data in Apps 9 post upgrade to 19C Database.We have been asked to supply auditable log-on / log-off data, including Machine name. Thinking of using Active Directory (AD) Logs - but having done some testing, we can not find an appropriate entry. Has anyone done this before? Our AD is on-prem. Looking to upgrade to IFS Cloud in the next 12-15 months - so if there are experiences of that then I’d be interested as well. Thanks in advance,Matthew

Dear All, does anybody know is there is a way to configure a sales part price according to the purchase order line price when using the supplier direct sourcing? For example, add 30% from the purchase order line price to the customer order line sales price. Thanks a lot for your help :)

We have a scenario where we need to send a quote out to a vendor in CAD and they come back to us with a quote in USD. Is there a way to enter the value in USD where the system auto calc’s into CAD in the quote similar to how “price/base” and “price/curr” works in CO’s and PO’s?

Cannot open the added image in Trip tracker

Hi,I have added a receipt photo to trip tracker in IOS but when i select the photo to view it. It just opens a blank screen saying Photos. I can view it in App10 but not in Trip tracker. VMI part can be created in B2B portal by multiple item in one PO by Supplier

Hello, Now we implement VMI function, which would like to create PO by supplier, but in B2B portal, supplier only can create PO for one item in one PO each time. Are they possible to create PO by select some items into one PO each time and input different PO qty? please advise. ThanksSusan

Sales Price List based on FIFO Cost

First Off I am on apps 9 and upgrading to apps 10 shortly I have a couple of sites where the pricing is based on FIFO. One is a Duty Free warehouse. Each time we receive the Purchase Order we can apply to the cost from the PO convert it to the base currency of the company and add in the cost based on the Cost Templates in the cost bucket assigned to the part for freight percentage add on. Now I would like to sell those parts to the other warehouses that it feeds. I want to then add costs based on the cost templates in the cost bucket to add in Duty/tarrif/Freight costs. But I want the starting point to be based on the costs that the parts are stored in the Duty Free warehouse as. I went in and added the sales part base price for my item to the duty free warehouse. I checked the flag for origin from costing. I selected cost set 1 Inventory Value. I went in and updated the costing with the batch job. It doesnt see any amount for the costing. Any ideas? doe

ModifyAvailabilityControl Post Action

Can someone assist me? Trying to Create a webservice call to update the AvailabilityControl but I want to only modify it for a particular Contract, Part, location, and batch. IFS App10 IEE ADFS login fails when UPN is in mixed case

We have users in active directory who have their UPN in camel case. ADFS login for IFS doesn’t work for these users.We see that directory ID in User should be the upn but it is forced to uppercase in IFS. for example:active directory UserPrincipleName : userName@domain.comin IFS directory ID: USERNAME@DOMAIN.COM our observation is that users with UPN in all lowercase in active directory can login without an issue. Does IFS not support UPNs in mixed case? any way to transform it in IFS so this doesn’t become a problem when authenticating and not satisfying the Claim Rule Set?

Custom tables' fields are not shown in Mobile Client

Hello all,We are facing the below problem: We have the table “TASK” and the custom table “C_CARDPHONECOMPLETIONINFO”. They have the below parent relation. The problem is that in the mobile client, in the “Mobile Designer” screen we have selected “TASK” as our primary table, we are able to see the “TASK” fields, but we cannot see the “C_CARDPHONECOMPLETIONINFO” fields.So my questions is: Do you know if we are missing any step on this action?

Print Agent - Prints same report designer document over and over

Hello all,We have an issue with the print agent I was hoping someone could help with. We are on IFS 9, UPD17. For some reason, a print job that seems to print properly, is hours later, being reprinted by the print agent. When I check the IFS related logs, no errors are showing and there is a single print job in the print manager and PDF archive. The agent will continue to print this job over and over unless it is restarted. Any ideas? Thanks,Rich

Unable to enter Posting Proposal screen, getting an error - File Format is not valid.

Hi Everyone,I have a invoice which had a attachment to it as a shortcut file and when am trying to enter posting proposal from Supplier Invoice analysis screen it pops up me a message as below : The page you loaded could not be activated due to errors. Please contact your support representative.File format is not valid. So I removed the attachment from the invoice and its giving me the same error message when trying to enter posting proposal or Manual Supplier Analysis.Can anyone please help on this for solving this issue.Any help will be much appreciated.
