Method to By Pass the search window when using saved search with advance query parameters

When a user opens the search window on the Expense Analysis window and created a saved search on “Organization Code”, this will be available under the screen in the as follows and this saved search can be used afterwards If a user search this directly in search window by pressing F3 , it will open the “Advanced Query Parameters” popup window once the search button is pressed.If a user tried the search using the saved search highlighted earlier, the user will be direct again to the search window. Therefore the user will have to press the search button again to go to “Advanced Query Parameters” popup. Could you please let me know whether there is any method to bypass the navigation into search window and directly navigate to the “Advanced Query Parameters” popup when the saved search is used.

How to migrate contracts to "Active" status

Hello,When I migrate the suppliers agreements they automatically appear in the "Planned" status and I would like to migrate them all to the "Active" status without having to do any manual actions. The field OBJSTATE on template seems to have no effect on the status… Thank you for your answer.

Lobby Error after Lobby page has been created

Hello, Can someone please help with the Error: “ PURCHASE_ORDER_API is not a procedure or is undefined”.I have created a lobby data source and lobby element and everything works fine but when I click in the element to populate data (based on data source condition), it generates error “ PURCHASE_ORDER_API is not a procedure or is undefined”. If/Then in a Custom Field Select Statement

I am trying to add field Approved_By_UserId from views ‘Gen_Led_Vouchers2’ or ‘Voucher’ to as a custom field on ‘Supplier Invoices Analysis’, ‘Multi-Company Invoices Analysis’, and ‘AP Suppler Invoices Analysis’.Basically if the field is null in gen_led_vouchers2 i can get it from transactions in the hold table.But I have never seen an IF/Then in a custom field select statement. :-/Can this be done and does anyone have an example? ThanksCindy

Custom Event to check records of a table and react to a date field

I am looking for help on creating a custom event that will check records that have a date within the next few days and then send an email to a users email address.Basically if a date is set for an action to be done for a certain order, then email the coordinator. If you have ideas please let me know and I can share more info as needed.

Bing map API call exception?

We are getting exception as mentioned in attached log file while FSM tries to call Bing API. Can you please check the exception and suggest the solution. Is there any specific reason why in IFS Cloud with GL Balance Analysis we are able to see different currency values but not the currency codes themselves? This is somehow disturbing especially when using the multi-company option...

Cost of the inventory received via RMA (Not connected to customer order)

hi,One of our customer upgraded from 7.5 to App10 recently and they are using inventory valuation method as ‘Weighted Average’ & inventory part cost level as ‘Cost per lot batch’. They created RMA for the customer order delivered via 7.5 version. cost of the receiving inventory as below for different scenario.1. If the site has inventory with the same lot batch - cost will taken from the same lot batch2. If the site has inventory with the different lot batch (only 1 lot batch) - cost will taken from that lot batch3. If the site has inventory with the different lot batches (multiple lot batches) - average cost will taken from the available lot batches4. If the site doesn't have inventory - Cost would be taken as zero. Customer expecting to provide cost for the receiving inventory if the same lot batch not available in the application.is there any basic data configuration or workaround to support with this. Shipment for Non Inventory Sales Part in Project Deliverables

My customer would like to ship licenses as “Non Inventory Sales Parts” via the project deliverable. The deliverable should be used to have a standardized solution for shipments in their business process.In IFS Standard it is possible to ship such parts e.g. via Customer Order.But in only inventory parts can be shipped via Project Deliverable.Now my customer uses the customer order as workaround.I would like to know the reason for this restriction. A decision must have been made to specifically exclude these "non inventory sales parts".It would just need to change this check for the ‘inventory part’ to ‘No Parts’ (To stay in IFS Standard) and we could use standard shipping functionality (for Non Inventory Sales parts) in the project deliverables.Thanks in AdvancePatrick_

Transfer inventory part unit cost to costing

Hello!Is there a way to transfer Inventory part unit cost, which IFS automatically updates, directly to under costing, for example to cost set one? What we would like to do is update our Sales part base prices from costing that way that we could use unit cost value which IFS calculates when receiving purchase parts. So that Inventory part unit cost could be transferred to one of the cost sets under costing and from there it could be transferred to sales part base price. Thanks for all answers!-Eetu

Italy Global Extension - Electronic Invoicing

The customer is using APP10 UPD 7. One of the Terminals is based in Vado, Italy and uses the Italian Global Extension functionalities.Vado Gateway uses an external Billing system N4 from where customer invoices are issued. This is then integrated with IFS to bring the invoices in IFS as External Customer Invoice (Manual Customer Invoice).The Terminal is requesting that the e-Invoice information to the Tax Authorities be sent from IFS to the Tax Authorities. From the documentation we see that this is possible from Instant Invoice and maybe from Customer Order Invoices. Is it also possible to send the e-Invoice XML from Manual Customer Invoices?

mWO Synchronization Rules

Hi, All!In IFS applications 10 we have Synchronization Rules with own schedule for each mobile entity.To make the data exchange more frequent we would like to change the schedules minimizing the execution interval.But we are afraid of possible causes for the system.What if we will change the schedules for selected entities (ActiveWorkOrder, JtTask, MobileWorkOrder etc) from once a day to every 30 minutes?Could anyone explain how it can affect the system?What about the system performance? Can it be significantly decreased?What about client/server keys mapping? Can we receive the situation with increased quantity of failed transactions due to not receiving the proper keys in time?We have about 50 active users and about 2000-2500 Tasks per month.Thanks in advance!BR,DANMI

Delete supplier invoice from hold table

Hi, I’m trying to close May period in IFS but it is not letting me to do it as there is an invoice in hold table which I cannot delete. Invoice has already been paid. Is there anyway I can delete the entry from hold table? Please advise. Image below for reference

Aurena (UPD10) how to re write expression in dialog box to make field required

Hi,I’ve made a Field in Aurena in ‘’My Time Registration'’ Required. However, it is possible to save without enrich it with any values. So basically it’s NOT required/mandatory even though it ticked. See below image. The required field is in a Dialog Box.I contacted IFS Support with following answer: As I explained earlier, changing the expression that should in theory work, but it is very hard to get that expression correct, and we don't support editing such expressions so that has to been done on your own risk. Unfortunately, we don’t have documentation on how to re write the expression and it falls outside the scope of maintenance and support. Two expressions can be changed. Questions about mobile user installed apps/devices:When is a new one created/added to a user? Our users always use the mobile app on the same device yet there is more than one line on their Installed Apps/Devices tab. How is the device State (active, disabled) determined?
