Connect Project Activity to customer order line with supply code Service order

Hi,We are trying to create a project from a Customer order line which has a supply code as Service order. This sales line has been transferred from a CRO. This issue is that if I first create the project from CO header, then RMB on the CO line it does not give the option to connect to project activity. we have created a CRIM to auto create project but if I run this CRIM it gives this error message stating updates not allowed Please can anyone advise on how we can get a service type generated from a CRO to be added to a project

Modify the Accounting period

HI, This is regarding Modify the Accounting period..I am in an opinion to change the Opening and the ending date of my next accounting Period.But in the period that I am looking to change the dates, there are some “R” Vouchers posted.Those are come as interim vouchers of last month “M” Vouchers.System doesn’t allowed me to modify the Opening and the ending date of my next accounting Period, due to those “R” EntriesPlease Advice.. Expiration Date changed by Shop Order Manual Unissue

We have discovered that a manual Unissue of Materials from a Shop Order effectively recalculates the Expiration date on the Inventory Part In Stock record.We have a Durability Days value on the Inventory Part. When I unissue the Lot/Batch, the Inv Part in Stock record appears to calculate an expiry date based on this Receipt (back into Stock) as today + durability days, rather than against the original PO Arrival date. Before I fire this off the IFS support, is this correct behaviour? We don’t think so! We are old-school - IFS2003 (sorry!)

Remote Warehouse Refill

I have two remote warehouses that are setup as putaway zones. When trying to refill parts in these warehouses from Inventory, is there a way to specify the warehouse from which the refill should occur? Scenario: Warehouse MAIN Warehouse A (Remote Warehouse) Warehouse B (Remote Warehouse) We want parts in B to be refilled from A if there is enough quantity. If not, then the refill should be from MAIN. Warehouse A should always be refilled from MAIN. How can we handle this scenario?

Customer Payment Rollback

Hi,I am in the Customer Payment Rollback window in IFSAPP10.For Payment Series: CUPAY, Payment Type: Customer Payment when I RMB on the line I can Rollback Complete Payment or Rollback Partial Payment when the Rollback Status is “Not Rolled Back” For Payment Series CUPAY, Payment Type Customer Automatic Payment when I RMB on the line both Rollback options are “greyed-out”. Anyone knows why? Is the Customer Payment Rollback possible only for certain customer payment types? Regards,Aleksandra

Supplier Return query

Hi! Grateful for any tips with this supplier return issue my company has. We have to do a supplier return on an inventory purchased part that was brought back into stock through an RMA, not a purchase order. So we can’t reopen the purchase order and create a Supplier Shipment to send back the item in the normal way.If we set the supplier up as a customer and do a customer order to get the item out, then the project sees’s a negative variance because we are ‘selling’ something that has a cost, for nothing, which has upsets our project managers! So I would rather not do it that way. (Our company has mandatory project connection on customer orders)Any ideas would be very welcome! Thank you, Alex

Payroll NI Threshold

The National Insurance threshold will increase on 1st September 2022. Our Payroll department would like some guidance notes or screenshots if available, on where in IFS, the NI value will need changing?i.e. Is i changed in 1 screen or multiple screens?In the below image you can see the NI threshold My question is; Where else is this value held and/or changed, because the payroll team do not know!This is usually part of the annual payroll update from IFS, as you can see below the valid from date is “06/04/22”.Thanks

Place Text File to SFTP location using IFS Connect

Hi Team,We have requirement to create text file in the SFTP location from IFS, so we have configured corresponding sftp sender through IFS Connect.Now, can we directly post Application message with message body as text file or only option is to create xml record type and use xml to text transformer in routing address before routing file to sftp location?If latter is the only option, whether will it have performance impact if we need to fetch thousands of records in xml file and convert to text file using xsl transformer before placing the file? Project Delivery semi-finished material flow

Community,We are implementing multisite now. so for our project delivery shop orders, semi-finished products will be manufactured in different sites, once they are received into the stock, they suppose to be moved to the top parent part site and do a final assembly.my question is, how to move these parts? are they going to be the distribution orders? but, we tried planning network MRP, also PMRP, it just does not generate anything.if it has to be transport task to move the material, why system does not generate the transport task automatically? what did i miss?Thank you.

Read-Only Database Access for Analysts and Power Users

We’re upgrading from IFS Applications 9 to IFS Cloud. Along the way, the scripts drop the Oracle accounts for our end users. The application is missing a lot of reporting capabilities, and without the SQL Query Tool, we’d like to give read-only access to the database so certain users can get their work done. How do you recommend we go about granting read-only database access? From an ASFU licensing perspective, can I use two different usernames for the same named user, to keep the FND user and Oracle user segregated?

Document Preview support in Aurena

Posting this in Framework forum since it’s more technical than functionality.Do we have a comprehensive list of File Types supported by “Preview” option in Aurena ? This is for a customer on App 10 Aurena client. Managed to use Preview for PDF, TXT,JPG and MP4 file types. Did not work for MS OFFICE files, HTM, MSG etc.Can we get the Preview to work with 3D PDF ? for me it opened 3D PDF without support for 3D features.Also is there a way to disable the download option in “Preview” window ?Customer is looking for an inbuilt viewer for all file types. Also they don't want the users (with only View access) to download the files to local machines and also print. So at least need to provide a list of supported file types for preview and a way to stop downloading.

When I try to login, I get an error:screen1Dll’s which are available :screen2Apps addedscreen3 App Notify Me works fine but IFS Aurena Notify Me shows above error. Version of IFS 10 UPD13. Is it a license problem? if so, which component is responsible for it? Or maybe it's a configuration problem in IFS?

Replicate document text from Customer order to Shop Order & DOP Shop order

HI, I have set a customer pup to have the Replicate Doc Text field enabled ( Customer/ Order/ Misc Customer Info. Replicate Doc Text). However when I place and release the Customer order, the document text entered on the customer order header or customer order line is not copied to the pegged Shop order create through DOP. It is also not attached to the to the DOP order order header. Is there anything I need to specifically set up in Document Text administration or Site level to get this to work?Thank youSusan

Alert when placing order with supplier?

When creating supplier records, sometimes there are conditions that need to be met before purchasing officers place an order. Eg: “quality review required before order placement”, or “supplier must not be used on XYZ site” or “JSA and work plan must be submitted before work undertaken” - those sort of things. However once I create a supplier record, there is no way that I know of to prevent orders being placed until these conditions are met. Essentially, I need some sort of alert to the purchasing officer to appear when they go to create a PO for some suppliers. I can put a sticky note on the supplier record highlighting these requirements, but the purchasing team don’t go into the supplier record when they create a PO, so they won’t see these requirements. Is there anything that can do this?

Finite Scheduling in IFS Cloud version

In the IFS Cloud version, is it possible to set Workcenters and other resources to Finite schedule as we could do in the previous versions to get Shop Orders to schedule based on constraints? If not, is there a plan to use PSO or something else to get to that point?I know there is sequencing in APB, but was looking for a way to automatically slot/schedule the orders.Best Regards,Jeff Mazer

Hi,Other than admin role credentials In Part disposition screen, disposition record with disposition code RMA is not visible but disposition code RTS related records are displayed . Community, I reposted this to a sub forum. how IFS handling the semi-finished products move from current site to its parent site in Project Delivery? for example, top part is manufactured in site A01, but its kids are manufactured in A02, A03… How IFS is handling the material move for semi-finished A02, A03…. to final parent site A01 to do the final assembly?
