Delete or Expire A Sales Charge Type

In IFS Apps10, is it possible to delete or expire a no longer required ‘Sales Charge Type’ ?We have many that were used pre-Brexit that are now obsolete for our needs.We have tried to delete them using the Delete (bin) function but they have been used in previous years and are becoming a hinderance in our day to day processing.(The Sales Charge Type “XXXX” is used by 10 rows in another object (Sales Charge Type Desc)) Thank you.

Shipment Id connected to charge line

We manually enter our freight charges on the charges tab on customer orders. After we have used the shipment process to deliver the order we would like to go into the customer order and add the shipment id to a new charge line were we are adding the freight costs to charge to the customer. However, every time we do this, the Collect toggle button automatically moves to yes and we do not want that. I have looked through all of our set up and I do not know how to have the “collect” toggle switch to stay off. Does anyone else know? We are using IFS Cloud.

Delivering Customer Order Line Connected to a Negative Charge Line

We are using Apps 9.ScenarioWe have a customer order line connected to a negative charge line. The customer order line has two staged billing lines. An invoice was created for one of the staged billing lines. That invoice includes the negative charge line. The customer order line has been reserved and picked.IssueWhen trying to deliver the customer order line, we receive a message that Negative amounts are not allowed.Does anyone have any suggestions as to how to deliver this line? We are unable to disconnect the negative charge line from the customer order line because the order line has been partially invoiced. Or, does anyone have any suggested work arounds to resolve? Thank you!

Parts window are show exact the same data. but the truth is, they are different, can anyone tell me why they are not, what cause this discrepancy? below is an example.in this window, total is 55078 records.in this window, shows only 1031 records. Supplier Direct Debit

A customer pays some of his suppliers by allowing them to pull direct debits from his account. It seems that this case is not supported by IFS at all (yet). Is this correct?IFS knows direct debit, but only where the IFS user is the supplier. It makes no sense to include the payment in a payment proposal because that would pay the supplier twice. And it is not possible to import it via a bank statement file because the transaction code 105 which is used by the bank for this purpose is set to “Direct Cash” in IFS. With the trick described in the comments of it seems to be possible to use the code anyway for supplier payments but we still can see that the function is not really supported - for example cash discounts are not automatically calculated and assigned there. So do we actually have to wait for a support of supplier direct debits in IFS?

Pegged material on closed material req

Somehow, our maintenance department closed a maintenance material req with a part still pegged on it and now I am having trouble figuring out how to fix. Any help is appreciated.It will not give me the option of manually pegging since closed, and will not let me change the status of the requisition. I cannot issue or peg from the work task either as the line is closed.

Return from Purchase Order has no impact on Current Net Amount in Supplier Agreement

We think that there is a gap (bug?) in the current implementation of this process and we do not know how we should proceed. In general, in IFS Cloud Current Net Amount calculation is based on PO only, - increased when a Purchase Order is added using the agreement during the perioddecreased when the relevant Purchase Order is cancelled-will restrict creating new PO's once the Maximum Amount is reached. We have situations when a PO is fully received, but only partly invoiced and we know that the remaining part will not be invoiced and can be returned. But such return (through Shipment) does not have any impact on the Current Net Amount.We think that this may be a gap or a bug. We believe that when we return some part of non-consumed PO then this returned value should be subtracted from Current Net Amount. Otherwise the Current Net Amount in the system is higher then in reality and it's not possible to use this difference on another PO. Anybody here using Supplier Agreements in similar w

External Supplier Invoice for one-time supplier

Has anyone used FInvoice or EInvoice message for upload of one-time supplier invoices?According to external fiel type ExtSuppInv, it should be possible to load one-time supplier specific information. I don't want to use an external file but EINVOICE functionality. I'm in search for documentation describing which tags to use.

Hi, We have a form which has the following fields: The “Update Manager” is a search field which is using the lookup “CONTACT USER”: We have users across multiple businesses and it appears the “Update Manager” field is filtering out the users based on the user filling out the form so the user filling out the form only sees users who are part of their business - this works the way we need it to work but I’m not sure how this has been configured as the lookup “CONTACT USER” does not exist in Custom Lookups.We want to create another version of “CONTACT USER” but for the “Update Office” and “Update Department” fields so it would only show offices and departments of the user filling out the form. If possible, we would like to create this based on a users CSG so if a user is part of a particular CSG then they would only see offices and departments that are part of their business.Any help would be greatly appreciated.Kind regards,Danyal Ahmed

IFS Cloud22R2: Saved filter with sorted columns different than filter criteria

Is it possible to save the settings (sorted by specific fields are sorted for data from a saved filter) in a table view?Example:Select Active Work Orders Define a filter e.g. for a specific WO Site and save the filter After the records are selected, sort column priority in descending order This setting (sorting of filtered data) should be saved as a bookmark or a save filter or ???Is there any possibility save these settings? Sales order line with external service purchased in direct purchase order

Hi All, I have a customer who does aircraft overhaul. He sometimes dismantles defective parts of an airplane belonging to one of his clients. Which customer asks him to have the part repaired and sent to him once repaired and bill him for the repair. The part will be repaired by a subcontractor of my client.How can I most simply manage this flow. Indeed, IFS does not allow to manage a customer order line in direct purchase order for a purchase order of type 6 (external service)?To date, we are transferring ownership of the part returned to stock to be able to use external services.We create a type 6 purchase order with a unique address (customer’s one), we create the sales order, modifying the price (it is not the part that is to be invoiced, just the repair), link the sales order line to the purchase order line, ship the unserviceable part to the supplier, register the arrival of the part when the supplier delivers the customer, ship the part so that the invoice can be created.This pr

Projection call is broken in IFS Cloud

Hello, The AddSourceLinesToShipment(Selection):String projection call for the projection SourceLinesAvailableForShipmentsHandling seems to need modifications done to it. It is currently not usable for a workflow, and when I try to call it, I get this error below. Anyone from IFS who can fix this, please do so. Same task-event several times (mobile)

Hi community,we have an issue which seems to be very hard to find (also for the support).Under undefined circumstances, we get the same task_event and related to that the same task-status in FSM/Mobile.For example, a mobile user changes the task status from enroute to arrived, some minutes later the task status switches back to enroute and the mobile user have to change the task status again.This happens every day but not on every task. We (and the support) can’t find the cause of this issue.Does anybody facing the same issue?Thanks Benjamin

Culture is not supported error

Hi, I am hoping somebody will be able to help me. One of our users reported this issue yesterday. When he opens IFS, he gets this error below. Even if he clicks Close, apparently it keeps popping back. We are on IFSAPP 9. Did anyone had this before and know how could I fix it or cause of the error? FSM 6U23 - Attachment in Mobile

Hello,I’m using the Attachment functionality in mobile to capture attachments in Receiving Unit PO screen. From the ReceivingUnitPO screen in Designer, selected the table Receiving_Unit and using the Attachment icon, selected user_def_num1 field to store the attachment.After choosing an attachment and while the record is saved, the receiving_unit.user_def_num1 field stores a negative integer value such as -1, -2, etc., in the DB instead of the Attachment ID. Supervisor Change

Hi All,One of my customers has a new requirement where the supervisor of an employee changes each month and the newly assigned supervisor is responsible to approve absence request and travel requests of the employee. Customize the Home Page in Aurena

Is it at all possible to change the look, feel, or text of the Welcome to IFS Appliations! page in Aurena? We have multiple environments (Test, Development, and Production). It would be VERY helpful to have a visual difference to these screens so users can identify which system they are in. Looking at the URL in and address bar is not always available. For example, if you are using a Windows 11 webpage desktop app, there is no address bar visible. We really need to have something to differentiate between environments! Our old ERP system (25+ years old) had the ability to customize more than IFS...

Purpose of this variable
