IFS CLOUD / External file through a batch process

Hi all we are trying to import external files to create the invoices.We have an OCR Which will load Image and an STDSIN1 TXT.Everything is ok if the file is exactly the file name. But this name will be different each time:ExtSuppinv1.txtExtSuppinv2.txt … And so on…Then we have an error message:

Change total hours data type IFS 10 Aurena

In IFS 10 IEE there is a total hours field that is a decimal, I have taken the total hours field and added it using the page designer in Aurena, but it shows a whole number, not a decimal like in IEE. The page designer properties are set identically. How do I get this to display as a decimal in Aurena?

How to automatically reserve shipments/ shipment lines?

Hello, I would like to automatically reserve all available shipment lines/shipments for shipment orders. I have done this for Customer Orders where I automatically reserve lines via a database task (I have it scheduled to run every 2 minutes), but there doesn’t seem to be any database task that can achieve the reservation for shipments. The reservation button for shipments is a projection action called StartShipmentMainSingle for the ShipmentHandling projection. Since you can’t schedule projection actions as database tasks, how can I achieve this? Any and all advise/input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks,Bryan

Package body does not exist

Hi all,I’m setting up a custom event in IFSCloud that needs to get more information than is exposed in the default tables. I’ve created a package with a function that can retrieve the data I need. I can call this function from the custom event action and it’s recognised as I get an error if I specify too many arguments, however when I perform the step that triggers the event action I get the following error:Database error occurred. Contact administrator.Error details: [{"code":4067,"message":"ORA-04067: not executed, package body \"IFSAPP.XXX_CUSTOM_PCK\" does not exist"}]I have already performed the following:Checked there are no errors in the package Compiled the package Queried my package name to confirm SQL can find it Refreshed all server caches, including dictionary Looked to add it in permission sets - can’t find it Checked if it existis within Entities - it does notI thought that I might be missing a step when I have to create the package / assign the package in IFS or somethin

Why does pre-posting on a no part PO line or Material Req not follow the code part demands?

We have had users enter No Part Purchase Order lines and pre-posting is mandatory in this case. However, after the users enters the account number, it allows them to just click OK without filling in the other code part demands. The account number they are using does have mandatory code part demands. Should it validate that everything is filled in correctly before allowing you to close out of the pre-posting window?

PSO fix resoource is grayed out

Hello,It has been found that not fixing a technician, even though the time is fixed, can sometimes lead to problems. In FSM, the person can always be fixed in the job itself under 'Scheduling' by checking a box. In PSO, however, this does not always work. Even if the time is fixed, the checkbox to fix the person remains grey. Even if the correct technician is currently scheduled, this may still change. This issue concerns a difference between FSM and PSO. Does anyone have a Idee? ThanksMarkus

Invalid Table Name for Specific User

i already customize frmMultiPaymentCustomer and added some column. When a specific user tries to load customer payment screen, they receive the error “Invalid Table Name. Failed executing query (ORA-00903: invalid table name)”. The user already has the permission set to the view. Does someone know how to resolve this issue?Thanks & Regards,Ninda

IFS10 ADFS enabled and user get Bad Request 400

we get the following error message "400: Bad Request" when logging in via ADFS. The registration is done via an Android version 11 MDE device from ZEBRA model: TC520L and the IFS Aurena Scan It 10 app.we have already changed the Limit Request Field Size from 8190 to 65.520, but the error message still coming.also we have not set ADFS relying party claim rules, which another post had presented as a solution.Does anyone else have an idea where we should look for the cause?

IFS Cloud Data Migration for external systems

Hi,We are looking into different options for migrating data from external systems into IFS Cloud. It is my understanding that the recommended approach is to use the Data Migration Manager component to import data into IFS Cloud via flat file.We are expecting to import a huge number of records into IFS and we are looking for an alternative to flat file import method due to performance impact. Are there any other options for migration? (e.g. external database connection) If not, are there plans on improving this feature in the near future?Any insights will help. Thanks!

What would cause a Configuration Id for CTO part not carryover on Intersite Order?We have hundreds of configured parts working fine but we have one part not working correctly. We compared this part to the ones that work fine and they seems to be setup the same. Any ideas on what would cause this?Using APPS10 UPD11 IEE.Thanks

currency amount mistaken for amount values in credit card transaction voucher

Hi currency amount mistaken for amount values in credit card transaction voucher (Credit card transactions are uploaded from a migration job) example-In the below transaction, accounting currency is SGD and transaction currency is Euro.Here 9.98 is euro which is the transaction value and this should be in currency credit/currency amount columns and the accounting currency is SGD 14.30 should be in credit amount/ amount column .

Visual Shop Orders Planning - Crashing

Hi, When applying 4 filters, (Site, Status, Finish date and Planner ID) we get a server error. When we remove the Planner ID filter, the Visual Shop Orders Planning works. Has anyone else experienced this? Thanks!

Create Refill Order - Customer Consignment Stock

When adding several lines to Customer Consignment stock and creating a refill order, why is it not possible to add all lines to the same customer order if Customer, address id, Coordinator and Order type are the same? the system creates a new customer order for each line/part. There is a tick box saying: “Show Open Co Lines” but only works if specific sales part exists on an open CO, but still not possible to add different parts to an existing open Customer Order. What is IFS process or thoughts about how to handle customer consignment stock. We are today using IFS appl. 10 but we are upgrading to IFS Cloud. I can’t find any news in the cloud environment. Does anyone know?BRAnna

External Tax calculation for orders picked up by customer

We have some customers who choose to pick up their orders or have a third party pick them up. How can we get the correct tax on those pick up orders using Avalara? Is there a flag or setting that can be changed for these orders?The Delivery address is needed as the final destination for the 3rd party carrier, but the tax should be based on the manufacturing facility address.

Fuel inventory and object costs

We are a mining and ready mix operation with approximately 200 mobile pieces of equipment. In our previous fleet management system, we could download fuel tickets as either ROAD (filled up at a gas station using a card) or Company (filled up at one of our fuel locations on site that store inventory.This was not done as a work order, but essentially a material requisition at the object level.Is anyone aware of any capability within IFS that allows this? We have been told that it will require work orders to be completed, just to charge fuel to an object.We want to be able to track to the object so we can identify costs properly and trends, such as an object using more fuel than standard.

Cloud 23R1 - Service Resource Details - Defaulting Page Form and Search Criteria

Hi All,Is there a way to default a PageForm in Cloud through Page Designer. Below is an example:In the Service Resource Details screen, there are multiple forms as shown below. Navigate to Service Management > Request Management > Basic Data > Resource Basic Data > Service Resource Details I would like the ‘PersonForm’ to be the Default form when a user opens the screen. Is this achievable using the existing baseline screen? Also, I would like the screen to default the Search Criteria to ResourceType = ‘Person’ and this criteria shouldn’t be editable for the user.Are the above 2 queries feasible? Latest and Average Purchase Price calculation detail.

We went live on IFS Cloud about 4 months ago. I am looking for detailed information as to how the latest purchase price and average purchase prices are calculated in the system. Can someone walk me through it. Does it take into account Site to Site transfers when done on a purchase order at $0? Most of our parts are set up to be Standard Cost.
