Case Management - Comments field capped to 4000 character is impairing use of case management. Cases updates and progression are logged in commentary and system does not have any other area where logging and display case updates and history. Case Management Journal is not an option to solve this.
Dear community, IFS 8 allowed to put specification limits (outer/inner min, outer/inner max) and nominal value on control plans for a data points of type “Attribute”. In VCloud 22R2, it is not allowed. Is there any configuration that is available that would enable the use of values in the Min and Max fields for a data point of type “attribute”.The goal is to give to the operator the dimensions to meet but the measured value is not fulfilled in the analysis result. We only need to know the number of non-conforming parts. Thanks for your help

We plan to use consignment stock and link customer order to a project. Got error message that consignment stocks are not allowed for project connected customer orders. Why is this?Any basic data setup that will allow? Is there a workaround?We are using UPD10.17

We migrated in some customer orders / customer order lines.The lines that are supply code DOP (Release DOP), didn’t create Shop Orders at customer order release.If we go in manually and duplicate the lines, then they create Shop Orders.The only thing we can find wrong with the original lines is that Self Billing wasn’t set (it was NULL).We went in and set them to NOT SELF BILLING.But now we have hundreds of customer orders / lines that are set to Release DOP but don’t have DOP headers.Any idea how to trigger the DOP creation? If I manually create a DOP Header, I can’t link it (I think because the customer order line is Release DOP).Or any idea of what else could be wrong?

How do you configure self-billing supplier invoice from a purchase order receipt in IFS Cloud?We’ve set up:Self-Billing on the Supplier enable sending self-billing invoice on “Receiving Advice” by setting Message Class SBIINV for the supplier type of Receiving Advice must be selected.With all of the above set, the supplier invoice is still not generated on receipt.I am getting a receipt advice, but no connected receipts
We have an item that is showing available in inventory - this item is on a project and it is a returned item. The project is closed and the system will not allow us to scrap, transfer to standard inventory or move the item - we get the error “You may only change the inventory quantity balance for an activity that is in status Released or Completed”. We are also not able to open the project Please help
Hi,As shown in the above screenshot, the location No wrongly created without changing the location no to TRP. Unless all the open TO’s are closed in another locations we cannot delete this location and replace it with the correct name of the actual location.So, is anything can be done from the backend to edit the location no to change from 89969 to TRP in order to match with all Sites standardized location. hi, i have a problem with a scheduled quick report (task server application). When I run the report manually - everything is ok (it takes almost 30 minutes). When it executes as an application server task, it ends with an error. error:STUCK thread while executing native sender: 'null' Caused by: ifs.fnd.integration.senders.ConnectSender$TemporaryFailureException: STUCK thread while executing native sender: 'null'Another report that takes a few seconds works fine in the application server tasks and sends an email with the result of the report.Any idea how to deal with this big report?

I would like to create an invoice posting authorization rule for Person A and Person B.Person A - $1500 limitPerson B - No limitIf the invoice is under $1500, I only want it to go to Person A and ignore Person B. If invoice is over $1500, I would like it authorized by both Person A and Person B.Cannot seem to get this to work as it is requiring both to authorize no matter the dollar amount.I have Person A set at a $1500 limit on the Authorizers page. I have a Rule set for Seq 10 at Person A and Seq 20 as Person B.

HiWe sometimes have a need to adjust handling units when the parts are ready to ‘go out the door’, typically splitting the contents of one handling unit into two. For handling units in stock I can select ‘unattach part’ and can then re-assign that part to a new handling unit. For shipping handling units though, if I select ‘unattach part’ the list of parts available for un-attaching is always blank. Selecting ‘Unattach parts’ shows this:I know we can achieve what we need to by disconnecting the existing handling unit, re-creating two more and assigning the parts, but it would be much quicker if we could just unattach a part from the existing handling unit and then re-assign to the new one.Is there a particular reason why the list of parts to unattach shows as blank for shipment handling units?We are using Cloud 22R2Thanks!
We are doing PSO installation in Azure Server VM. Accordingly , PSO Azure License has been provided by IFS which is dependent on Tenant ID. While installing it is asking for Microsoft Credential . So, which credential do we supposed to use here ? Our individual O365 credential is not working here.We had previous experience to install in PSO as Standard one. not Azure.So, my question is , is the PSO license type provided by IFS is correct as Azure, or we should ask for PSO standard license?Is there PSO Azure installation guide available ?Please advise.

HelloI'm having a bit of task to try and make use of oracle sequences in IFS Cloud and stumbled upon number counters: The solution proposed in that topic looks to be what I'm after, however I'm having trouble finding a way to specifically generate a value from a projection function. The solution detailed is very much reliant on database access, but with IFS Cloud we have to assume no DB access.So i am looking for a projection that in essence calls ‘next_val()’ and returns the next value of the counter/sequence. Is there one?
Dear All, I am trying to run the “Multi Site Order” functionality but when the Customer Order is created for second site then Supply code “Not Decided” is coming dud to this we are not able to proceed further. Scenario is Site 1 is getting the external Customer Order and raising internal PO for Site 2 and in turn internal CO will be raised on site 2. I have checked all the EDI/MHS settings, sales part , sourcing rule, internal supplier/customer etc but no luck. Please help on this as i am stuck in this for a long time. Thanks in advance! BR HA
