Existing customer changes name

Hi, One of our existing customers have changed their name and keeping the same org number. This is an old customer with many transactions (projects, invoices etc).I dont know the best way of doing this, change name or add a new customer Id? Will it cause problems with old transactions if we take the easy way and change the name?

Error: An existing connection was forcibly closed by the remote host

Error: An existing connection was forcibly closed by the remote host while fetching General Ledger report. I am getting this error after 15 mins of transaction. Checked the JTA configuration. <Timeout Seconds> = 36000s, <Abandon Timeout Seconds> = 900s. I changed <Abandon Timeout Seconds> value to 1200s as well still it gave error after 900s.

Performed Value Based for multiple PM Triggers

Hi All,I want to know your opinion on the field ‘performed value based’ in PM Actions. Please consider the following scenario:I have one PM action with two Maintenance triggers:On a bad condition (new in 23R1) Every 100 hours (with performed value based TRUE)Now we have a situation where we record a bad condition at 125 hours, so trigger 1 has created a work order and work task. At completion of this work task, the hours are 135 hours.What do you expect in the maintenance plan for trigger 2? My opinion is that the next trigger will be set to 235 hours, but that is not the case, it remains at 100 hours. It is only taking the hours on work of trigger 2 and not the other triggers.See PM Action:With a maintenance plan:Based on trigger 1 a work task is created and completed. Just before completion of the work task a new reading is set for the hours to 135. I would like that the Maintenance plan for the accumulated triggers is updated. It should not check why the Work is generated. All thou

IFS REST Call in Workflows

In Workflows I have the possibility to call an external REST API which works perfectly. But by POST I can insert only one object per call.Is it possible to create multiple objects with one call? Background of my question: The performance is quite poor with multiple REST API calls when I want to transfer mass data.

Automate Matching of Customer Payments

We have a request from The Business to automate matching of invoices for Customer Checks - to match against the oldest ones first, or if it matches a months invoices (as the oldest one is in query) as a proposal before the payment is posted against the invoices.I can see many functional issues with this - but at the moment I’m tasked with looking into the technical feasibility. Hi All, I am getting below error while initializing data from FSM to PSO. Could please help me to fix the issue.Configured all parameters in FSM which are required to load data from FSM to PSO. An error occurred while making the HTTP request to https://XXXXXXXX:8744/IFS/Scheduling/Gateway/Service/Session. Hello IFS Experts, Hoping to hear some ideas or solutions to an issue we are having!Currently for our offshore PO shipments, when we are notified of this shipment, we receive into arrival into a non-nettable location. By doing this it allows finance to have a payable and trace ownership of our in-transit materials through GL. Once the material is physically received, we then move the material from that receipt to arrival non-nettable location into a nettable picking location. This was the recommended way from IFS during our implementation 2 years ago. We would like a solution to not have to receive in material that is not physically received because we may need to change the Incoming Dispatch Advice/PO Lines if we find any updates or corrections are needed for the shipment ID #, quantity, or price, or most often the needed to change is the arrival date. Once received the system, it does not allow changes, which this makes sense because it has been received into the system. Does anyone

Site MRP does not create supplies for random parts

Hi Community,One of IFS customer is experiencing an issue that when they perform site MRP, it does not create supplies for seval random parts. But when they re-perform site MRP without any changes, then the system will make supplies for those parts but without creating supplies for several other parts.But selective MRP for the part always creates supplies as expected.What can be the reason for this?Your suggestions would be really appreciated.Thank you,Nimesha

Amount Available to Invoice

I’m trying to figure out the amount available to invoice after orders are shipped, but before they are invoiced.Create Customer Invoices shows me what orders have items available to invoice, but not quantities or lines. We ship partials on orders and lines, so just knowing the order number is not sufficient. We also ship consignment, so looking at the Customer Order Line and comparing Delivered to Invoiced doesn’t work either.Any suggestions?

Shop Order Operations Details in Project Deliverables

Hello,We are moving to IFS Cloud 23R1. Supply Chain Planning > Engineering > Project Delivery > Project Item Navigator > Consists Of (tab) > Route Template ID Today in Cloud we are ONLY able to add the Operations details on each individual assembly. We operate more often with hundreds of assemblies and need to be able to bulk edit/easily enter this information similarly to how we can in IEE Apps 10 Project Delivery today. In IEE we can find and replace hundreds of lines vs. manually edit each assembly. We haven't been able to find similar functionality in Cloud Deliverables (Resource & Duration with or without Template). Has anyone found an efficient way to do this in Cloud? Having an issue where an Invoice Preview is showing all prices rounded up. Example: This is listed as £75.56 which is correct. However, when running the Invoice Preview against the Service Contract this line shows as £76 This has happened on all Lines in the Service Contract - what can cause this?
