We upgraded from IFS10 Update15 to Update16 and it is now running slower in IEE of IFS.

Hi,We upgraded from IFS10 Update15 to Update16 and it is now running slower in IEE of IFS.For example:- It takes about 5 minutes to display the version information from the menu bar help.- It takes about 4 minutes to display any screen.- Searching the navigator menu takes about 5 minutes.Has anyone experienced slowdowns in IEE with Update 16?Does anyone know of a workaround to improve this IEE slowdown?In this situation, we cannot offer our customers to upgrade to IFS10 Update16.*Aurena runs fine.We look forward to hearing from you.

CF purchase order lines

Hello.We created a new CF (persistant type) on :LU = PurchaseOrderLineView = PURCHASE_ORDER_LINE_ALLURL = ifsapf:tbwPurchaseOrderLine_Ext And now, we would like to make this same CF visible on :LU = PurchaseOrderLinePartView = PURCHASE_ORDER_LINE_PARTURL = ifsapf:frmPurchaseOrder_Ext and on LU = PurchaseOrderLineNopartView = PURCHASE_ORDER_LINE_NOPARTURL = ifsapf:frmPurchaseOrder_Ext Is there a way to share this same CF among these screens? or do we have to create new CF and make events to “share” the datum?

Authorizing Supplier Invoices through API

Hi.I am building automation for my company, that after evaluating an invoice will either authorize the invoice, or forward it to a human for manual handeling.In this regard I am trying to find out how to authorize through the API.I am fairly certain I found out how to transfer an Invoice to a different authorizer using:/main/ifsapplications/projection/v1/AuthorizeDetailsHandling.svc/ChangeAuthorizerBut under AuthorizeDetailsHandling I could not find anything that looks like it authorizes the invoice.I’ve tried searching the API Explorer, but its not easy to decode what each endpoint does.

Retention of records

Is it possible to delete a record scanned image (once processed an invoice becomes a record) from the system but maintain the metadata to attest to the fact that the record existed?This is in relation to retention and disposition and is also a statutory requirement in South Africa in regard to the Protection of Personal Information which states that a record must be destroyed once it has served the purpose that it was collected for. EDI Setup Error Message

Hi All,Wondering if someone can help me with EDI messages please?I'm currently trying to setup to send messages via EDI to one of our suppliers, I've put the details in Supplier/Message Setup and under Setup Connectivity, but is there anywhere else that I need to enter settings for this to work, every time I go to send the test message, I get this error Message class is wrong or missing.Does anyone have any documentation for how to set this up correctly or can anyone help with it please?ThanksSteve

How to close a PO line without receiving

Community,any way we could close a PO line without receiving?We have some orders back to 5 years ago. they are supplier material purchase orders. these orders, supplier materials are shipped to supplier already, but the PO never received. We would like to close all these POs without do any RMA or customer orders. How could manually close the PO lines? We are on APP10/UPD9Thank you.

Multiple Locations when one would do?

Good day IFS Community!I am stuck a bit on how IFS is reserving parts and putting them on a pick ticket. The issues I have are:I have part ABC in location number 123 Quantity = 4000I have part ABC in location number 234 Quantity = 4000 My shop order or customer order will have part ABC in a quantity of 500The pick ticket will direct me to get 200 from location number 123 and 300 from location number 234 even though there is enough in the first location. I do not believe reservations are playing a part in this.Why? The second issue I have is I am having parts being left out of pulling. For instanceI have 4 of part ABC in location number 123.I have 24 of part ABC in location number 234.My customer order is for 16. The pick ticket does not direct me to the location number 123 to “clear” the remaining amount. We are utilizing IFS Cloud. I am also in the beginning stages of utilizing storage zones for priority when picking.

Always in every stage/phase get the message:“The current stage contains mandatory tasks which must be resolved before the next stage can be proceed” But there are no tasks listed to be resolved. Retrieving IFS10 server data from Power BI

Hello, IFS10 community.I am trying to connect to IFS10 server oracle database to retrieve information from Power BI.I didn’t have any problem with other SQL queries but for another I can’t retrieve any information. It says table is empty, but when I run the query in SQL Query tool information is in the that table.Do any person have any suggestion where problem can be?Thank you.

Conditional Fields and Frame Functionality in App10

Hi All, Can anyone explain at what level does a Conditional Field “Action” affect the frame functionality? Can the Conditional Field settings be associated to a Base profile for standardization or a User profile for specific needs? Did a test in the Active Work Orders window for the “Contact” field and it appear that the Conditional Field setting of the “Read only” action was applied at the frame level. Further more, what security option could we employ to restrict the ability to restrict access to the Conditional Fields option or to specific Action types? Thanks in Advance,Supun Ekanayake.

IFS Cloud 23.1.2 - Print Agent

Hi Guys,Need your help with print agent. After update IFS Cloud to 23.1.2, our print agent begin to have a weird behavior. Advanced Searches in IFS Cloud 21RI?

All, In IFS Apps 9, our company uses advanced searches to quickly create necessary reports for various pertinent screens instead of having to develop a quick report. Many users depend on these saved searches to effectively do their job. Is advanced search (group, count, sum, sorting, etc...) functionality possible in IFS Cloud 21RI? I have been unable to find a solution to this thus far while using IFS Cloud. Thanks,Chase

EDI using IFS Rest APIs

Hello, I have recently been asked to investigate configuring inbound/outbound EDI in IFS using Boomi. I found the API explorer, but I do not see any individual projections which contain all the data necessary to send any EDI types. For example, I want to send an 810 but it seems that I would need to hit multiple projections to get the data I need. I am honestly finding almost nothing on using the IFS REST APIs for EDI. This seems like a very common business requirement, so I am wondering if anybody in the community has attempted something similar? If so, would you recommend any particular documentation or resources that may be able to help me figure this out? I appreciate any help the community can offer. Thanks!

Mobile user (Technician) are not able to order material from mobile application.

3 technicians are not able to order materials from the mobile.The material option is disabled for those technicians.We have assigned Multiple warehouses to those technicians. but still, technicians are not able to add materials. Please let us know if we missed anything on the employee configuration or if something else we need to check.

Logo in email Signature triggered from IFS

Can anyone share your views on implementing the solution of including logo in an email signature triggered from IFS? I am planning currently to achieve this with the use of html <img src> tag in plsql code and give the file system path of the image and the solution is working with an example code below, For the above solution, I need to change the content type of the mail sender to text/html from text/plain. Also, as per outlook default settings html embedded images are not getting downloaded automatically and user has to download it manually by doing right click to see in the signature and again this settings in outlook needs to be changed. Is there any other better or standard IFS way to achieve this?

IFS Cloud Multi Site Printing

Hello all, was looking for information on multi site pick list creation. We have task in place by the user which works if manually printed. The problem is when any user tries to create a pick ticket automatically is will only print to the main site and not the site listed on the case. We do not have order takers manually releasing orders so the database task isn’t really affective. Any help would be much appreciated on this topic.

Hi Team, I have created sales contract and all necessary project connection have been made in sales contract level. After that I have created AFP in that those project information is flowing, but when I create project invoice those project and activity sequence no are not flowing to project invoice. Can any one tell why it is missing is there any basic data set up issues.

Hello, I noticed on my customer environment (already in place) a lot of background jobs (several thousands in a short period of several days) I do not recognize.Example : I did not find anything with the description and function. Cannot find Attachments on Service Quotation from MWO

We have engineers using Service Quotations and they will attach documents / photos to the Service Quotation via MWO.The Attachments can be seen on MWO but when the Quote is returned to IFS we cannot find the attachments.There is no Failed Transaction, the MWO Device is fully synced and showing ‘Idle’ so we cannot work out where they have gone.Thanks in advance :-)
