Navigator Designer

I want to create a new context for our maintenance personnel. The navigator in the new context will have only the Maintenance menu items and nothing else. I found that if I hide (delete) the Parent items in the Navigator designer the Parent items are no longer searchable, but child Items are. There are about 2800 total items (or nodes) available in the Navigator. Is there a fast or easy way to hide almost all of them without having to click on each and every one?

Lobby Element Bar Chart Order

Hi!We have problem to get a proper sorting (order by) on the X-axis in Lobby element Bar Chart.In our case we transform a date value to the string for start of the week, using to_char(TRUNC(&AO.Shipment_API.Get_Actual_Ship_Date(shipment_id),'D'),'MM/DD/YYYY') , for example 05/28/2023, 05/15/2023 etc.We are using above string format to get the order for the data. I have also tried using year + week number and truncated date. When I get to the lobby element I check the data source to use the data source order, but it keeps ordering by the y-axis amount. I am doing a horizontal bar chart and get least to most from the Y-axis. Bar ChartSo then my dates are in the X-axis are in the wrong order….??I saw there was a question exactly like this one from 3 years ago, but it did not have a solution. It was closed so couldn’t reply there. It looks like others are having this same problem. Is there anyone who knows a solution for this, or is this some kind of limitation in the Bar Chart?

Start External Voucher Assistant from an event

I want to start loading and creating voucher through External Voucher Assistant when ever a file is dropped into IFS through IFS Connect reader into application messages. I have started to create the event when a new post is created in FNDCN_APPLICATION_MESSAGE_TAB and the sender/status is the proper one. The first thing the event does is to copy the file from application message into the server folder - that is handled OK. Then I want to start the External Voucher Assistant in background mode. I have all the parameters necessary to start the job, but when I do this with debugger active in IFS, the file assistant ends up in the schedule job window, and no debugger messages are shown. So I cannot see the final code that post the job for background running. Does anyone in here know how to create PL/SQL code that does the trick?Thanks for any input :)Best regardsIrene

MRP does not create Shop Order for Material needed in "Work Task - Service"

Hi All, Playing around with “Request Management” & “Work Task - Service”, I noticed something strange.I created a Work Task - Service with Material. The material demand shows up on the IPAP - so far so good, but when I run MRP, it does not generate a Shop Order Requisition. Although I would expect this since there is not enough material on stock of my manufactured part.I’ve added my steps below. Anybody have any suggestions? Best RegardsRoel Process:Step 1: generate New ‘Request’ in Request ManagementStep 2: adding Work Task because I used an empty ‘Service’ from my “Service Catalog”Step 3: adding material to my Work Task, QTY = 6 Step 4: Request is Released - we can see the material under “Request-Service Work”Step 5: the demand is visible on the IPAP, but we only have 2 on stock so we need additional 4 PCSStep 6: Running MRPUsing background jobs to Making sure MRP is finished Result: Nothing is happening on the IPAP. The MRP runs - demand is there but no Shop Order Requisition

External Supplier Invoices load with incorrect Load type when Uploading invoices for Multiple Companies in Single Load

When External Supplier Invoices are loaded for multiple compaies the user’s default company fetches the correct load type mentioned in the External Supplier Invoice Assistnt but the other 2 companies gets the incorrect load type.Refer below for detailed explainations. Load Type is given as EMPLJCR, so the expection is that this load type will fetched for all the comapnies When the job is finished below are the results.On the default company of the user correct Load Type is loaded But on the other 2 companies incorrect load type is fetched Why is it not fetching the correct load type from the external Supplier Invoice Assistant for other 2 companies ?

Customer Order Line Reservation Issue

Hi all, I have a problem; there is a customer order line has picked qty>0 with picked state but reserved qty is zero. For that reason I would like to reserve the customer order line on manual reservation for the customer order line page. There is enough available qty on inventory part in stock page however manual reservation for the customer order line page comes empty in details tab.So I can not reserve the order line, what could be reason? In addition info;The available stocks are in a location that location type is shipment.The line has a problem that "The line could not be reserved. The part is not available" on Handle customer order shortages page. ThanksOzge

Hello, We are implementing Optical character recognition tool (Documation) to streamline our Accounts payable invoices. Data is correctly flowing from Documation to IFS but when invoice perfectly matches PO it still posted to prelim invoices and user need to click “Match” for it to post. Should IFS do that automatically? or does this functionality only exists in higher versions?Thank you Oksana

The report is not populated in Aurena

I have created a quick report (SQL statement) in APP10 and the report is successfully populated when trying to view using IEE.The report is seen in the ‘Order Report’ window but when I try to view the report, it is not populated and shows ‘No Data’. The issue remains the same even if I log in as IFSAPP to Aurena.Could someone please advice if any security grants should be done in order to see the records in Aurena please?

Hi everyone,this has already been somehow asked in a couple of other questions, but not exactly with a final solution.Our business need is to have a complete and updated view of the supply chain for customer orders.This could be provided by the supply_order_analysis_tab, but we know it is a temporary table, with data triggered by manual actions by users on customer order lines. This means that not all order lines are included, and the included chains might not be updated.I have created SQLs using demad_ref_code and order_ref, and it works, but only at some extent.Does anyone has the same need? Is there any solution, out-of-the-box or customized, a workaround, or any other known way?We tried to trigger the tree generation procedure for all order lines and create a custom table but it’s obviously too much in terms of resources required and fails. Could an incremental solution work? What should it consider?We are now on App9 and just started the project to move to IFS Cloud. From the firs

Recalculation preliminary cost after updating contribution margin

Hello, I need your help on the following.Some of our project have this type of setupFor each sales invoice,the system is calculating a preliminary cost of sales based on the contribution margin rate.We noticed that if we update the contribution margin the new rate is applying only to next preliminary cost of sales calculated when new invoices are issued and there is no catch up calculation for the previous preliminary cost of sales. Example :Period 1Contribution margin 25%Invoice 1 for 500 000preliminary COS : 375 000 Period 2 :update the contribution margin to 15%Invoice 2 for 400 000preliminary COS : 340 000 YTD situationSales 900 000COS 715 000Margin : 185 000 (20.55%) whereas we are expecting only 135 000 (15%) How to force the recalculation of the preliminary cost of sales generated on previous periods ? I am trying to update CUST_ORDER_TEMPLATE_LINE but am getting the error message ORA-20121: CustOrderTemplateLine.INSERT: Field [LINE_NO] in Cust Order Template Line may not be specified for new objects. How do I rectify this please ? I have also removed the field from the update but it is not creating any new records just updating the records.

Hi all,Our customer wants to start using master scheduling level 1, level 0 & S&OP in IFS Cloud. However, in their product strategy there are many possible SKUs (colors, sizes) in a product group, which makes it difficult to forecast each item because many variants/items are only created to order.The question is whether anyone has experience with a work around or adjustment where the product forecast is initially defined at product group (intermediate) level to drive MRP & capacity load from there and where consumption is aggregated from item to group level.It is important to note that the customer does not use Configure to Order. Link Work Order to Project via MWO

A user has asked if there is a way to connect a new work order (raised through the MWO app) to an Project Activity via the MWO app. We occasionally have out of hours call outs to a site where we have an Project. The engineer will raise a work order on his device and the time will get booked to the work order accordingly. However, this office staff are unable to connect this work order to the relevant Project Activity the next morning (error message received). Our only solution is to create a new work order from the office, connect it to the Project Activity and then transfer the time over. We would like to avoid this extra work if possible.

Cannot Zero the inventory Quantity using "count per inventory part" window.

physical count is zero for the specific part, but it cannot be counted out from the system. mentioned error is appearing. appreciate if someone can teach me how to change allocations for a location.

Business Reporter - Report being used by another process (Shared Directory)

When we save a business reporter generated file to a shared location it initially runs fine then users begin to get to see a message that looks like this: “The process cannot access the file:’Z:\Test Reports\business_reporter_example.xlsx’ bause it is being used by another process.” We have checked the file is not open and ensured the locations used are listed in the Trust center locations. Has anyone else encountered this issue and/or have fix?
