Hello, maybe someone can explain why appears this message <<Attribute acceptedExtensions is not writable on UploadQueue» when opening window “Create Documents” in IFS Cloud.And the function “Upload” doesn’t work.What is missed to create multiple documents in this form?Aurena Agent, Chrom Extention and Visual Studio 2010 Tools for Office Runtime (from Add-ons) are installed. CAMT.053 automatic matching of supplier payment

Dear experts What is your approach for the automatic supplier payment matching with a CAMT.053 file? On a customer environment (Apps 10, update 15), we have set up CAMT.053 and it works fine for customer payments. What we are missing so far is the automatic matching of the supplier payments with the corresponding payment order. When the CAMT file is loaded into IFS no automatic matching takes place and the order ID has to be added manually (e.g. in the mixed payment window): Is there a way in IFS standard to automate this process. E.g. when creating a supplier payment order to add the order ID into the payment order XML file (reference tag), so that this information can later be used in the CAMT file for automatic matching with the referred payment order? Reading dynamic file name format for On Server data migration

The requirement is to read csv file from FTP folder for 'On Server' Data Migration. The file format should be dynamic name (file name concatenated with current date, for example PartMaster_&DATE.csv). But the 'On Server' migration is working with static file name format (PartMaster.csv) but not with dynamic name. IFS responded that R&D team has identified this as the expected behavior of the IFS Cloud applications and as of now it only allows to write data to a on-server file with the extensions.The import functionality might be included in near future as an enhancement of the application.

How do you use PSO Depots with FSM 6

We would like to use PSO Depots with FSM 6 to have technicians pick up parts for calls but don't know how or if this is even possible.In the PSO Scheduling Concepts - Parts Functional Guide, there is the following blurb which says "Depots are a special type of Activity (with activity_class_id=DEPOT)" but it looks like the activity_class_id for Activities (aka: Tasks) is hard coded to "CALL" in the Metrix.Threesity.Integration dll. From what we see, when GenerateActiviyExportXml is called, it internally calls AddActivtyToXDoc which has the following line, hard coding the activity_class_id to “CALL”:this.AddNodeAndValue(xDocIn, element, "activity_class_id", "CALL");) If PSO Depots are truly Activities with an activity_class_id equalling “DEPOT”, can we use PSO Depots with FSM 6 or is there another way to have technicians directed to pick up parts by the system to be dynamically scheduled for a call? Can I increase the field length of an IFS object table?

Can I increase the field length of an IFS object table, specifically the field in the Scrapping_Cause_Tab, “REJECT_MESSSAGE”? Its length is 35 and we want to increase the field length to 100. Will this cause any issues? Please let me know if there are any options?Thank you,

Receipt PO by amount

Hi, Is there a way to receipt a PO by amount? We have a large number of blanket service PO’s, and the individual invoice amount varies each month. For example we want to be able to receipt £5,468.74 off a £100,000 PO.We are using IFS Cloud. Thanks,Erkan

Include in Revenue Recognition toggle in Account

We use IFS Cloud and use Revenue Recognition. We are changing our process and would like to start capitalizing the inventory accounts for POC. I can’t find any information on what the toggle on the Code String Account does when I turn it on. I have tested it, and it does what I need it to when I run the Periodical Capitalization and Revenue Recognition Project, but I’m concerned that it will affect our other projects/revenue elements that are not being capitalized. Can anyone tell me if this affects anything that is not being capitalized?

Users getting kicked out of IFS with error "An existing connection was forcibly closed by the remote host"

Hi All, We are having an issue in our IFS environment, Multiple users are randomly getting kicked out of IFS with error “An existing connection was forcibly closed by the remote host". The users get this error at different screen, when logging in, when navigating to screen and at random places. We are on Apps10 upd18 deployed in IFS managed cloud. Has anyone experienced this issue and was able to resolve it?

IFS Cloud - Custom Event Action REST Call not sending Query Parameters

Hello, we are currently on IFS Cloud 23R1 and I am setting up a custom event to send data to a Rest API for further automation. I have my custom event and event action set up and I can fire the event successfully, but it appear that IFS is not sending the query parameters that I am asking for. Here’s my event action: On my REST API server, it receives the call to the endpoint, but there is no query parameter attached, and the server returns a 422 Unprocessable Entity: Here is a correct call to the same endpoint with a query parameter from Postman: The API correctly receives and processes the query param from Postman (by just displaying the data in the console. But it never receives any query parameters from IFS Rest call. Is my syntax wrong in my Event Action, or am i missing something else? Thanks!Matt

Scheduled jobs run manually have incorrect next execution date

Manual runs of database task schedules advances the next run date by 1, instead of the next day. My customer ran a scheduled job manually on 5/16, the application then reads that the next execution will be on 5/18. Why is the next execution not on 5/17?

Reporting time for non IFS users

Hi, I am having an issue assigning service technicians to maintenance organizations and reporting time against them. We do not use the HR module but I have them in as company employees. They have primary sites assigned to them in sites per user. They are assigned to a resource group that is used in Maintenance and Service. I cannot assign them to a maintenance organization nor can I report time for them in the work task. I checked the Maintenance tab in Site and don’t see anything related there. What else can I do to get the Service techs into maintenance orgs?

Print reminders automatically

Hello,I’m attempting to automatically print reminders from acknowledged customer reminder proposals.I went through and created a workflow to call the projection CustomerReminderProposalsHandling.OrderReminderReportBatch(Company,ProposalId,ExecutionMode,PrintMode,ReminderDate,PaymentDeadline,PaymentsIncludedUntil,BatchPrintout,SortBy,RunInBackground,Print):Stringbut unfortunately, this completes without actually generating any reminders.Any idea why? Below is my projection action call, which I can confirm doesnt get stuck in an etag related error since the entry on the table ‘BPA_ASYNC_SYS_TAB’ shows that it gets set to ‘done’ not ‘in progress’. I cannot see the returned value for ‘OrderReminderReportBatch’ since this workflow is triggered via an async-timed event action, which doesnt generate an observation. One of the 23R2 updates supposedly adds this functionality to see aysnc-triggered workflows, but we arent in a position to update just yet.Any and all advise would be greatly appre

Delivery failure slows development after successful topic and sanity

I’m working on an upgrade from 23.1.3 to 23.2.5. If I have a problem with, say, the deploy.ini of a component, it doesn't get caught in the topic environment build or the sanity build, so I have to wait all the way until I attempt a delivery before it shows up. It takes a whole day to delete an environment, rebuild the topic environment, do the sanity build, and build the delivery. (I’ve resorted to skipping the topic environment build, but it doesn’t feel right.)Why are there these extra checks at the delivery stage that aren’t caught earlier? It seems to me that this defeats the purpose of the topic environment build and the sanity build. It doesn’t actually prove it’s sane.Can I recreate or simulate these extra checks to do better unit testing?Is there a faster way to develop?

All components activated ignoring the solutionset during remote deployment

Hello, we have an issue with an IFS Cloud 23R2SU5 remote deployment where all components are being activated even though the delivery has a solution set correctly in place. When we start the delivery installation, it says:INFO: Remote solution solution set file found and is added C:\ifsremote\ifsroot\deliveries\ifs-cloud-23.2.5-1.2.0\ifsinstaller\solutionset.yaml)which seems to imply that the installer finds the solutionset correctly, but once it has finished, we can see in the “Installed Components” page that every single IFS Cloud component is active. We have also created a build place environment out of this delivery, and in this environment only the components that are active in the solutionset are active in the Installed Components page.
