Posting proposal does not pick PO authorizer

We have the company parameter ‘ Inherit Authorizer(s) from purchase’ checked ( Company > Invoice Tab > Supplier Invoice Workflow tab).When I create a manual supplier invoice and match to a PO it does bring up the authorizer from the PO across to the posting proposal. However, I have noticed if the invoice comes through the OCR ( we are using ABBY) the authorizer does not come across and we always have to manually add the authorizer.Could this be caused by a setup that we are missing ?

Change PDF Name for Downloaded Document

When I download a PDF invoice, the file name is a concatenation of our Document Title + Repository File Name.How can we change this so that the downloaded PDF does NOT include the repository file name? This is a file that can be manually sent to our customers, and the file name is confusing - it makes it look like the invoice number is the document number.

LTUs in IFS Cloud

We now only can have pre defined LTUs by IFS or we still can have our owned LTU definitions then approved by IFS. If we can create our own LTU permission sets ,then what is process of approving them and connecting them to our license file ?

How to create more layouts when setting up Print Agent

We haven’t been able to successfully print yet. Every time a report gets sent to one of the logical printers set up, there is an error and no text to explain the error. I don’t know if the layout is the primary reason for the error but even if it’s not, we don’t have A4 paper to print? Any guidance here would be helpful! Thanks!

Component FNDSCM declared as Final

I’m working with a customer where we want to make a change to SCIM_HANDLING_SVC The default behavious of the SCIM AD Synchronisation is to automatically create a Person record with a User record using the same ID for the Person and the User - this isnt always the desired behaviour. We want to make this optional based on a value thats synchronised from AD, which we’ve mapped at the Azure side. Unfortunatley this package is delcared as final in the deploy.ini [Layering]Implementation=FinalWhich gives us the below error when trying to customise it in Developer Studio: Component FNDSCM declared as Final (ot Overrideable). Therefore Cannot Customise Is there a way to safley overtake this package and make the AD Synchronisation?

Assyst - Multiple Tenants access to Assyst using SAML

We want to move to SAML single sign on from Entra managed accounts for AssystNet and AssystWeb. Our organization has multiple Entra Azure tenants. We are aware that to enable SSO we need to define a Enterprise application in Azure on each source tenant to define the endpoints and SAML properties. Question: Is it possible to configure AssystWeb and AssystNet to accept SAML access from more than one source tenant? Do you have any worked example documentation?

Absence requests are not reflecting in employee interval window

We have setup basic data as follows:1.In employee Configuration window we have setup the Registration mode as “Personal Exact Deviation” 2.Then we have recorded absence request. 3.You can noticed absence is not reflecting in the employee intervals window. It is not reflecting in Time card intervals also: Please advice why we are not getting absence request in to the employee intervals window.

Create Task Templates from within mWO (based off Failure Setup Navigator)

Hi,Just wondering if anyone has had the requirement of mWO (Service Engineer app) in Cloud to generate something like below:Tech attends the job based off the task sent to them. The task is to investigate the service call. The tech finds the actual symptoms, fault codes, failing components, causes etc and enters that information (this is already possible in the app). The system then looks at the setup in Failure Setup Navigator and finds the applicable action (i.e. the Work Task Template having the guided steps and materials). The app then applies this task template to this task creating additional steps and new materials to carry out the fix. Note that the mobile could be offiline - so necessary basic data should be already syned to the device.I have a few options but nothing that would work while the device is offline.TIA

Hi all,When I import a huge file containing numerous data sets, I receive the following error: just one data set or line can be imported without an error notice.STUCK thread while executing native sender: 'null' Caused by: ifs.fnd.integration.senders.ConnectSender$TemporaryFailureException: STUCK thread while executing native sender: 'null' Also, we've added the line “ifs.bizapiTimeout.ExcelQuickReport.RenderExcelDocument = 1800” to the ifs.properties file and restarted the application server, but the error persists and is triggered after 10 minutes This is mentioned in this below ifs community post:Is there a particular place in the ifs.properties file where to add the line?Any action other than restarting the application server? Hello Community!How does companies do mass import of inventory parts, purchase parts and supplier for purchase parts to IFS? Companies that has many new and changed parts and needs to update this frequently? Like create a set of parts with multiple part numbers in one go. I understand that this is possible with migration scripts / tools etc. But when it comes more to a end user function. How are you doing that?

Variable machine costs based off time

Hi We are introducing lights out machining and looking to get an accurate cost of our parts. We can start an operation during the day which can take up to 24 hours to complete. My question is , As the cost of machining from 6pm to 6 am is dramatically reduced is there way of capturing this cost?

Enhancement request: Optimizing Mobile Work Order Survey Loading Time Across Different Operating Systems in IFS Cloud

Hello, It has been identified that the time taken to open a Mobile Work Order survey in IFS Cloud on an iOS device is faster compared to Windows and Android. This difference is more noticeable when using large surveys with hundreds of connected questions across the parent and child surveys. It is understood that this difference relates to the method of memory management (garbage collection) used in Windows and Android. This enhancement request is to consider whether the IFS MWO application can be altered to account for these OS differences in memory management to bring the survey loading time for Windows and Android on a level with iOS.

With regards to the deployment of our Microsoft Excel Integration Licenses and Plugin – there is a pre-requisite software required as you know - Visual studio 2010 plugin this is now unsupported by Microsoft and our Customer are not intending to package this up with our Windows SOE based on it being unsupported - https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/lifecycle/products/visual-studio-2010Can you advise if IFS have issued an alternative to this plugin that is tested with your connector, IFS Data Migration Excel Add-in for APPS 10?

IFS 10 Multi Company period close

In IFS 10 Aurena navigation Accounting Rules > User Related Data > User Groups per Period > User Groups per Period, there is an option to select multiple companies and click on Close Period button. However, in RACE database, I am unable to close periods for multiple companies with single click but ca do the same for individual companies. Also, I can’t find any online documentation/Page help for the same as well. We are currently using IFS 9 and planning to upgrade to IFS 10 in 2021. We have about 35 companies in our current environment and the Finance team is looking for an option to close period for All/multiple companies with a single click and be able to see any exceptions/errors for all selected companies. Rental transfer error

Hello,We encounter an error when running the Execute step of the rental transfer between 2 different projects.At the "Execute" step, an error message appears: "Only Receive into Arrival and Inspect at Arrival are allowed for non-inventory parts." Using $count on projection set in Workflow (BPA)

For each set of a projection we can request something like:[YourServer]/v1/CurrencyRatesHandling.svc/CurrencyRateSetThis will give a list of all the currency rate sets. Great. One of the query parameters is $count (see [YourServer]main/ifsapplications/projection/v1/CurrencyRatesHandling.svc/$openapi?V3#tag/CurrencyRateSet).How do I use this on the URL as mentioned?This is my first step to understand how to implement retrieving the number of rows in a set retrieved via something like the following:It comes down to knowing in the end, are there zero or more rows. Based upon the count I can perform another step in the process.
