We have two parts in Internal Order Transit -- 70-00001 and 70-00002. When we go to do a Direct Delivery from Internal Order Transit, the parts are not displayed to be received. See screen captures below. Any suggestions as to why the parts aren’t showing in the Direct Delivery dialog box?
We found that when parts are received into inventory in IFS (via Register PO Arrivals) instead of receiving on the mobile app, those parts don’t show in the user’s inventory in the mobile app. Does anyone know why? Is there a way to “correct it” so the stock does show in the mobile app for the user? We are using IFS 9
Does anyone know the reasons why/when/how parts are moved to Internal Order Transit? See Inventory Transaction Code INTORDTR - Move to Internal Order Transit due to issue. Those types of transactions cannot be traced back to a specific order because they do not reference an order type or number. Is there a way to reuse a serial number for a part? For instance, a part serial record was created from a shop order and received as Part 1000 with a Serial No of 200200. The serialized part was then delivered to a customer.The serialized part was later returned from the customer and disassembled. The physical unit no longer exists but the part serial record does. A new shop order is created and we want to receive the finished good as Part 1000 and Serial No of 200200. But we can’t because that part serial already exists. So what I’m asking is, is there a way to have two part serial records with the same part number and serial number? I know those fields have to be unique but I wasn’t if you had any suggestions on how to make this possible. Thanks!
Has anyone run into the scenario where, when the status of a work order is changed, the mobile app automatically closes?
According to the IFS documentation, there are two types of initialization defined as follows:Initialization - sends pending transactions to the mobile app,; deleted local database on mobile app; re-syncs all data. Force Initialization (which only becomes available after selecting an initialization) - immediately deletes the local database on the mobile app including any pending transactions; re-syncs all data. When a work order is created, what is the default address assigned to it? Does the address come from the object or the customer?I know you can assign addresses from the customer or object to a work order but just wanted to know what the default is. Thanks!
We delivered a few customer order lines with the Supply Code of Service Order. We now need to undo the delivery. I opened the customer order in Undo Customer Order Delivery.When I right click on one of the order lines, the Undo Line Delivery menu option is greyed out/disabled. When I right click on the header and click on the menu option Undo Delivery, I get the Error Message “Cannot undo customer order delivery for customer order lines with supply code Service Order.” Any ideas on how to work around or resolve this issue so that the lines can be un-delivered? thanks!
We always manually issue materials on shop orders without reserving them first. We currently have a shop order for which we were able to manually issue the materials. But now when we try to Approve the Operation in the shop floor workbench, we get the error message “There are not enough reservations to issue this amount. Part ##### needs to be Reserved before issue. What is the cause of and or resolution to this error message? thank you

We are researching the manual pegging option for pegging shop orders to customer order lines. Does anyone have any feedback regarding the benefits vs. the issues/limitations of using this feature?
Do you have a recommendation on how we can do the following in Cloud:Indicate that an existing part serial has been used or is re-furbished? Specify on a sales quote, customer order or shop order that a refurbished part (non-serialized) is to be used to fulfill the order? Use different pricing for a non-serialized part based on whether or not it is un-used vs. refurbished? We currently create two part records for this purpose and add a suffix of -10 behind the part numbers that are refurbished. We’d prefer to only create one part record instead of two.For example, the un-used part number is 1234 and the refurbished part number is 1234-10. Users add the part with the -10 to orders to specify that a refurbished part is to be used to fulfill an order. We looked into Condition Codes but determined that we don’t want to use that option.
We want to be able to default the supply code for a configurable part to “Invent Order”. The system won’t allow it. Does anyone have a work around or suggestions for how to accomplish this?

We wanted to understand what happens if the following information changes before the transactions/data are synced …The user’s install app version changes The user’s device is disabled and a new active device is createdExampleA user has failed transactions, out messages, and push queue records associated with app version 3.17 and device 123. These transactions/messages have not synced yet.The active MWO app version changes from 3.17 to 3.18 The user device 123 is disabled. Device 456 is created and is the only “active” device for the user.What happens to the transactions/data and out messages associated with app ver 3.17 and device 123? Will they still sync?

Questions about mobile user installed apps/devices:When is a new one created/added to a user? Our users always use the mobile app on the same device yet there is more than one line on their Installed Apps/Devices tab. How is the device State (active, disabled) determined? Can a shop order be unpegged from a customer order line if that line has a status of “Invoiced/Closed”? We need to cancel a shop order but we cannot because the customer order line that it is pegged to has a status of “Invoiced/Closed”. But we can’t unpeg it because of the status. Any suggestions?
Our company does creates manual shop orders for the pre-assembly of equipment based on forecasted need. Business opportunities and sales quotes are used to anticipate future need. My question is, is there a way to peg a shop order to a business opportunity or sales quote for pre-assembly purposes, since there is no customer order created yet.
