Customer Order Line not moving into delivered

Forum|alt.badge.img+2

Hello IFS Community

we have had this issue over the years again and again, but never found out what the root cause is. I am hoping that somebody might’ve seen this before.

Basically we have a 1 Principal structure, meaning that all orders to external customers are getting entered in the main site (111 in this case) and parts will be sourced internally in the intercompany sites (owned). The goods then are getting shipped from the internal site to the customer directly.

Sometimes when this is done, the purchase order line from the principal to the internal site and customer order line to the external customer are not getting updated to “Delivered” when the shipping transaction is done. Anybody got any ideas on why this is getting stuck?

If I have understood the scenario correctly, next step will be to Register Direct Delivery. This can be done either manually via the Register Direct Delivery page or by sending the DIRDEL message from supply site and approve in the demand site. You can check on the supply site order in the order history if DIRDEL message is sent. If you have configured to send DRIDEL automatically this is sent when printing Delivery Note. It might be a problem in the receipt of the DIR DEL message, you can check in Incoming Delivery Notification page.

Not sure how you normally do the register direct delivery? Just give some hints with this comment.

Hi, yes that is true. We have added the printing of the delivery note as additional step into the shipment type at delivering, so it triggers the register direct delivery at the same time.

Thanks a lot for that hint, we have found some stopped incoming delivery notifications all with the same error: Error on Message Line 2. Error Message: ORA-20110: PurchaseOrderLinePart.FUTURERECPTDATE: The Receipt Date cannot be a future date. Alter the Receipt Date to allow the receipt.

Any idea what is means and how it can be solved?

I think this issue is already reported by another customer in support. It is confirmed as a defect and is under investigation. I think it is related to incorrect handling of different time zones.
