PSO does not apply assigned profile parameters

Forum|alt.badge.img+6

Hello everyone,

In PSO, we have two different datasets: one running on IFS Cloud and the other on the ARP file. We have created a profile for each dataset.

However, when I change the parameters for a specific dataset, PSO applies the parameters from the default profile instead of the assigned profile. The profiles have been correctly assigned to the respective scheduling dataset.

Does anyone have an idea what might be causing this?

Regards - Anastasiya

I don’t think profiles will work. If you have enough control over both datasets, you could funnel different details per dataset into the same additional attribute. Or use 2 separate attributes, put both into the parameter, and one of the attributes will always be empty per dataset.

What parameter(s) are you changing - the UI-related ones from your screenshot? This doesn’t work for me either, I assume that for the dataset only the scheduling-relevant parameters are considered. The profile does however work when specified on the user.

What are you trying to achieve - different Gantt visualization depending on the dataset?

Thanks for your feedback, @Alexander Heinze . We want to use different values for Activity_Label and Activity_Text. The data coming via the cloud is configured differently: Activity_Label is made up of the Additional.Attribute there. In the uploaded data set, the Activity.Description should be used for the Activity_Label instead.

That's a good idea, I'll try it out. Thank you very much!
