We have a availability control on parts in one warehouse. The availability control is set to Nettable, not auto reservation, not manual reservation, not order issue, scrapable, allow reducing (on Part Counting Control), all allowed for part movement control and non-order issue. For some reason we can’t create a cycle count report for this warehouse location. It looks like it is due to the availability controls on the part but I need to verify that is the case. Can anyone confirm my suspicion or help me figure out why these will not pull on a cycle count report. We used not counted in zero days to generate the report. We are in IFS Apps 10 UPD21.
Can you check your background jobs for a job with description - Create Count Report? See if there is any error which shows any reasons for failure.
It always says no data found. Even when using zero days since last count and no exceptions. I made sure there was no cycle count open for that site as well.
Even if I remove the availability control on the location, I still get no data found. With or without using the last counted days of 1 or blank. The warehouse location doesn’t have receipts blocked and it isn’t hidden. Not sure why this location has count report issues. Any ideas would be appreciated.
Hi
> Check whether there is an existing count report which is not counted or cancelled which includes above mentioned parts. If they are already included in a count report, then it cannot be considered for another report.
> Check the ‘Latest Count’ column in Inventory Part In Stock window for these parts. A report cannot be created within the period between “latest count date” (T) and the “last count date + cycle counting interval” (T+C).
Ex: If the latest count date(T) is April 1st, 2025, and the cycle counting interval(C) is set to 21 days, then a count report cannot be created until April 22nd. For this, you can check and change the cycle interval on inventory part to 0 and run the count report.
Hope this helps.
Kind regards,
Sayuri.
