About functional objects

Hello, Is there a place where we can enter the repair, maintenance, revision, etc. operations performed on functional objects to track them?

Hi @seyma ,

For tracking repairs, maintenance, and revisions on functional objects without serialization, I recommend referring to this KBA, which explains how to use Tool Equipment Objects: https://ifsworld.service-now.com/csm?id=kb_article_view&table=kb_knowledge&sys_kb_id=c3d55c58c3e24e5097e05e3ed4013130&searchTerm=KB0056363

If you need additional details, you can also refer to the Equipment Management documentation here: https://docs.ifs.com/techdocs/foundation1/020_installation/400_installation_options/130_add-on_cmp/010_Equipment_(EQUIP)/default.htm.

Best Regards,
Charith

When you open the Functional Object in the Equipment Object Navigator, you will find buttons for “New Fault Report” and “New Service Request”, which can be used to create corrective maintenance. For preventative maintenance have a look at PM Actions. All of them will show up on the Equipment Object Navigator’s Summary page.
