Hello everyone,

Can anyone please explain what the relationship is between Total Scheduled Hours, Total Actual Hours and Total Baseline Scheduled Hours under Work Package Details page?

Thanks,

Hiwot

Hi Hiwot,

This was an interesting discrepancy to investigate.

I was able to conclude that the difference between Total Scheduled and Total Baseline Scheduled Hours is the presence of Master Panel Cards in the workscope. These hours are also included in the Scheduled Routine Hours.

Can you please validate these findings in your example?

Hello Robert,

Thanks for your reply. If I understood correctly, Total Baseline Scheduled Hours is Routine hours taken from the  baseline task definitions. Suppose a certain work package starts as below. Taking the AMT skill as a sample, the Total Baseline scheduled Hours (133:25) would be the original routine scheduled hours taken from the  baseline task definitions. But, what does the difference between the Total Schedule hours (152:01) and the Total Baseline Schedule Hours (133:25), which is 18:36, mean? I would think that it is for scheduled non routines, but, it can't be because this alone exceeds the Scheduled Non-Routine Hours, which is only 8:30. Can you please clarify?

Thanks,

Hello Robert,

That has finally answered my question. I was able to validate that with a smaller work package with a variation of only 0:01. It can be concluded that the difference between Total Scheduled and Total Baseline Scheduled Hours is the hours of the Master Panel Cards in the workscope.

Thanks a lot.

Hiwot
