Hi,
I am trying to configure the Primary SLA. I have configured it in the SLA template, but when I use it in the request work task, the primary option is not enabled. How can I enable the SLA as primary?

Can you share a screenshot of your SLA template and describe what exactly you are trying to accomplish? PRIMARY is just the name, the sequence of SLAs sent to PSO depends on how you define the SLA Template. For example, if SLA1 is 1 day and SLA 2 is 3 days, PSO will show SLA1 for day 1, followed by SLA2 for day 2 and 3.

Hi @Alexander Heinze,
I just want to know where I can enable 'Primary' (which I have highlighted in green).

The Primary is a calculated value and cannot be changed. In my case it works.

Do you see active commitments? You may want to share the SLA Template.

@Alexander Heinze
Yes I can see active commitments.

And my SLA template is

Scheduling SLA type is:

My major concern is that the earliest start given in the scheduling constraint is not getting updated to the scheduling info of the primary SLA in the Request Work Task - Scheduling and Allocation.

I don’t think the earliest start date affects the Start Date. The Start Date under Scheduling Info reflects the start of the SLA Commitment. What’s odd is that the Primary field is not set. I tried various SLA Types and different durations of the commitment, and Primary was always set to the commitment that had the earliest end (start plus duration).

Can you try a blank task and add one SLA Commitment to see if that gets set as Primary? Then add a shorter commitment, which should then become Primary. If both work, there could be a problem with the template.
