Default Currency

Place record is best in most scenario’s, it will then be automatically defaulted on related records (Request, Task etc) of course it does depend on the customers requirements and complexity of the implementation.

For example: if it’s a simple implementation using a single currency/country then a custom metadata entry may be a good option. For multiple currencies/countries then a business rule linked to the address.country table is another common option. 

If the data is being fed to FSM via integration, then it’s preferred to adopt the data entry from EA solution, and you just need to make sure the currency code table has the appropriate values created, although this can also be done using integration.
