Status detail Info in the Posting Information states “Posting proposal is in balance and awaiting authorization.” You go to authorize the Posting Proposal and you get the error “Posting Proposal is not in balance.” I am at a loss, has anyone else ran into this scenario? IFS Cloud 24R1

Hi,

Sorry to say but it is impossible to say why you get this without a lot more information about the proposal. The only thing I can say is that this sounds strange and you should not get an error about that it is not in balance when it is in balance. I suggest you contact log an issue in Unified Support for this.

Best regards,

Linda

Hi,

Taking a guess … Did you have a use tax on the supplier invoice?   If this invoice had a use tax, you may want to create a support ticket.

Best regards,

Thomas

We’ve been wondering if its use tax related. You must have had issues also? We’ll submit a ticket.

That is fair. We have just been frustrated how it could be happening. Thomas is right in his guess that we are using use tax codes on the invoice. We were thinking it was either use tax or supplier related but had exhausted all of our thoughts on it. We’re going to submit a ticket, I will report back with their findings so the community can also benefit. Thanks for your quick comment!

From what I can see the issue was resolved. It may have been 7 months ago. If support wants more information they can contact me. I have internal tracking and other that probably should not be posted in the forum.

Thank you! Is the issue fixed from a service update or did you also submit a support ticket? Just want to confirm before I send our IT Dept on a ticket for a fix that’s coming anyway.

Hi,

Support will have current state. I saw, planned dates planned updates.

I’m not in support and tend to believe they could answer those questions better than I can. I don’t want to give bad information (regarding any fixes).
