Cannot Finish a workorder since its linked to a deleted Requisition

Forum|alt.badge.img+3

I am trying to finish a work order but not possible due to the error

”Work Order has an active Requisition . Remove requisition to continue”. Upon checking the requisition it seems the requisition is deleted and not available. Is there a work around in closing this work order?

Hi @mwatata.lewa ,

If the same problem can be replicated with another work order linked to a requisition, then technical investigation can find why the link is not removed. If this cannot be replicated and it’s a single occurrence, then the only option I see is a data repair, to remove the link to non-existing requisition.

Pilar

Hi @mwatata.lewa ,

System has confirmed that there is an actual link with a requisition. So then, this link should be removed in order to be able to pass the validation, as requisition is not available.

Also, it should be investigated how it’s possible that requisition was deleted and this link was not removed.

Regards,

Pilar

Hi @Pilar Franco
thank you for your insights. Am also wondering why the link between the workorder and the requisition is still there after deletion.
Any ideas on how the same can be investigated?
