In out time on Time card

I would like to understand what drives input for In & Out time on time card as shown below,

 My understanding is it takes data from Day type, we have 24 hour clocking so we’ ve below day type setup,

Also, when I create absence request, system considers 2 days even when I register for single day; could you please advise what should be the correct setup to avoid this ?(In out timings on time card and vacation for 1 day)

@pradnyampawar : Day type details are not set-up correctly. Sample is given below:

I didn’t understand about 24 hours clocking, means employee need to report from 12:00 AM to 11:59 PM? In that case you can remove the second row from your screen shot and it should work.

Yes, my requirement is that employee should be able to report anytime in a day(24 hrs) and hence we need 24 hrs schedule, if I delete 2nd line from my day type setup I shared earlier(as you suggested); I see total hours (sum hours) to be zero and on time card it considers a day off that way.

Have I missed anything here?
