When there is an over consumption of Budget, system does not allow to Cancel a Purchase Order, that will eventually bring down the consumption value.
Same issue also exists in case of reducing PO value through Change Order.
Due to Over-consumption users are blocked with an error message to cancel any PO or to reduce any value in PO unless Budget Control is disabled.
Blocking of PO should trigger only in case of increasing any value or adding a new line.
System should not block while cancelling PO or reducing any value in PO since these action helps to reduce the cost of the project and eventually reduces the over consumption.
The below error says, ‘Transaction will exceed budget’, when the action is to cancel the PO.
