Hi,

Has anyone ever come across an issue with the Active Directory Integration where the sync process continuously errors with the below message:

“ORA-20105: OracleAccount. REUSED_PASSWORD_ERR. The password can not be reused.”

Each time the sync runs, it creates/sync just one account but does not grant the end-user role. Instead, the sync process just ends with the above error. If we run it again, it creates a different new account but with the same issue.

We have the option ticked to set the password to be the same as the username. It is throwing the error, both when it tries to create a new account, as well as when it is trying to synchronise an existing account.

Did you check the oracle profile?

Maybe the structure doesn’t match:

Hi, I ended up setting the REUSE TIME and REUSE MAX parameters on the DEFAULT profile to UNLIMITED, which stopped the errors from appearing. I’m still unsure why this was occurring though since the majority of users in the AD group were new accounts, and the existing ones should retain whatever password is already in place. I have further followed this up with IFS.

Thanks for your help!
