crm companion add filter?

Hi all,

We have CRM companion 10 touch apps and i need to know how you can a filter to the business opportunity in the mobile screen (not permissions) so a user can filter on status. When you click on filters on the bottom it just shows blank where as the customers button does show filter options but i cannot see any difference in their setup.

I have spent a good deal of time looking around all the options and i cant see a way of doing it.
