Is it possible to restrict auto generation of Employee ID per company? This is needed only for some companies and not a system wide change.

Hi,
As long as you enter an Employee ID when creating an Employee, that will always override the automatic generation of ID.
There is also a property under “Company Details” called EMPLOYEEID, which controls the next ID number. Try switching that off. This setting is on company level.

I have taken your suggestion on board to just enter a value in the EmployeeID field, thus overriding the auto generation.
