Question

Lookup Screen Child Relationships

Forum|alt.badge.img+8

Hi All,

I’ve been struggling to setup a working child relationship on the CONTRPRODCOVLOOKUP screen (FSM 6.5 Smart Client).  I’m wondering if there is some type of limitation to handle relationships on lookup type screens?

We have a field I want to display gos_contract.ext.is_paid.  I can add the field to the screen, but it never shows a value regardless of what is set in the database.  Maybe I’m just overlooking something.

Any suggestions?

Thanks!

Hi @csanders

You need to populate the columns value, how these tables are related to one another?

Cheers!

@Shneor Cheshin Thanks for the reply!
I’m unsure what you’re telling me to do though.  Can you please explain further?

@Shneor Cheshin They’re not missing.  FSM just pre-fills in the two values that it already knows. That row has not been added to the relationship maps yet.  I added the two rows below it.

Hi @csanders

If that is the case I would recommend creating a custom view and adding the field(s) from there. Assuming this is for information only and not for editing purposes.

Cheers!
