+3I have played with “Create S/P Req”, and I cannot get requisitions to be in the past (like in MRP).
If you choose
Create S/P Req - you will only get reqs after the DTF, but none after PTF
Do not- well you don’t get any reqs
Entire Horizon - you get anything after DTF and after PTF
...from MRP - you do get the reqs in the Past, but the Forecast does not appear in IPAP.

Simplified way of looking at the schedule:
The top manager is king The master scheduler is king The level 1 calculation is king
Master Scheduling is a balancing act of doing too many changes in the near future versus inflexibility in production. The time fences acts as decision points.
Inside PTF the system wont create any SO Reqs for you. You can of course manually create SO Reqs or Shop Orders inside both time fences.
