Does anyone have experience with custom Statistical Accounts? We would like custom statistical accounts where we can upload headcount in Jan, Feb, Mar, etc or days/hours worked in a month.

Statistical accounts in IFS are excluded from voucher balance check, which means you can book e.g. only debit entry, without any credit counterpart.
There are two types of statistical account available: regular and with opening balances. Regular behave like costs or revenues: they are not carried forward to next year, while statistical with opening balances behave like assets or liabilities: have closing balances of the year carried forward to opening balances of next year.
You can use statistical accounts in manual posting lines and in posting controls, where tax or ledger account is not expected.
I believe for headcount or manhours worked you will use manual voucher, you have an option to use amount or quantity in posting line - up to your needs.
