Hello,

Thank you for taking the time to read!

I am helping a customer who is raises Supplier Credit Invoices. When they do this, they would like some sort of authorization on this to kick on the posting proposal.

I have tried various combinations including putting maximum amounts of 0 and amending the priorities etc, but the rule is not kicking in.

Would there be any way to apply a rule to the credit invoices raised?

Any guidance would be appreciated :) Thanks!

The amounts in the authorisation rules only take absolute values so even if you created a rule with negative amounts, this would not apply only for credit invoices. There is currently not a core way to define different authorisation rules for credit and debit invoices.  I have raised this question in the past.

You could think of building a configuration which amends the authorisers if the amounts are negative, if the customer insists on having different rules for debit and credit invoices.
