What is the source for the Serials (VIM Serial) table?

Hi Rukshan.

If this is for IFS Cloud, new serials are created in a number of ways, depending on your scenario.  If you are going to create a serial structure for testing purposes, you can use the assistant New Serial.  Fill in required information on page one, on page two select required sliders for importing the template structure and generate serial numbers, and then finish.  This will create serials for the entire structure.

You can also just create the top serial using the same assistant, navigate to Manage Serial Structure and then level by level add required information on the Consist Of tab.

Finally, if serials are received into inventory, you can pick them up in Serials from Inventory page, and process them there.
