Hi @Himanshu

As far as I know, this feature is not implemented yet due to the implementation complexity. Duplicate functionality, duplicate only the header part of the Permission sets. All surrounding sections(Projections, Report, Lobbies, Workflows, background jobs, Permission set structure, System Privileges) needs to be duplicated as well.

This has been already reported to RnD and they are planning to fix this on 23R1. Further, they have informed us to use the below workaround until the official fix released.

Workaround - Export and import the same permission set with a different name.

Hope this information will be helpful.

Thanks!

Hi all,

I am contacting you with regards to the copy/duplicate action.

I don’t see it available on the permission sets related views, even if I have IFS_ALL permission sets.

How would it be possible to copy/duplicate a permission set ?

Best regards,

Abdul

Hi All,

There is no option to directly copy/duplicate an existing Permission set within the application itself.

Please export any existing Permission set and then re-import the same permission set. While re-importing, business user can enter any desired name.

This way existing permission set(s) can be copied.

Abdul Rehman
