Our customer has PSO installed on its Azure subscription. On a daily basis we are getting multiple times and from multiple componend (IFSDSE, IFSABE,...) a failure to connect to the database.

With the Rendered description stating: “The specified HTM matrix is not licensed. Using straight line travel. AppInstance: EUR Account: 10.0.0.4 Dataset: Default EPF”

Does anyone have any experience with this error and to what could it be related?

Thanks

This indicates that the parameter “TravelCalculationOption” is set to “HierarchicalTravelMatrix”, but that you haven’t specified a valid HierarchicalDatabaseMatrixId or that you are don’t have a license to use the specified ID.

The application will automatically fall back on Straight Line Travel calculation when this happens.

So you either need to update the HierarchicalDatabaseMatrixId with a valid ID, or you can set the TravelCalculationOption to StraightLine.
